Absolutely loved our quick stop at Cornerstone Cafe and Coffee! My wife and I popped in for a sweet treat and were seriously impressed. She ordered the Toffee Frappe and I got the seasonal Banana Pudding Latte—both were rich, flavorful, and perfectly sweet without being over the top. It’s rare to find coffee that tastes like dessert and still feels like quality coffee, but they nailed it.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the cozy atmosphere even better. We were only planning on grabbing drinks, but now we’re already planning to come back for food next time. If you’re into sweet, dessert-style coffee done right, this is the spot. Definitely a hidden gem and totally worth the visit.

Don’t be in a hurry when eating here. I ordered a sandwich to go and it took over 15 minutes to get a simple breakfast sandwich. I watched the staff in the kitchen. They didn’t care and were doing other things beside preparing food. I try to support local places but won’t be back to this place.

I am new to the area and I was trying to find a new coffee shop to do my homework for my college courses. In addition, to try this coffee shop before I go here for studying I went there yesterday for the very first time to catch up with an old friend that I have not spoken to in 6 years and we both really enjoyed the atmosphere. The decorations near the sofa gave off a F.R.I.E.N.D.S theme from the show. I will be coming here so often everyone that works there will remember my name and Ill become a regular. Truly love this place so far and I hope that continues.

Love this small cafe and the food has always been good. However they recently changed their rye bread and it is not a better choice. I stopped on my way home to get a sandwich. It was made with the new type of rye and I was totally disappointed. This new bread changed the whole complexity of the sandwich. This new rye is not much different that white bread. I liked the harder bread for this particular sandwich. Please change back to the marble rye bread.

Wanted so badly to like this place. It's clean and welcoming, with cozy aesthetics.
For the record, I've given it multiple chances, but eventually, you have to accept that you're getting the best they have to offer.

Ordered a breakfast burrito and a breakfast bowl this morning. There MIGHT have been 1 full egg split between the two dishes, but that's being generous.
Burrito consisted of a quarter of a piece of bacon, a teaspoons worth of eggs, a few black beans, and a pound of cheese and salsa. Terrible. Breakfast bowl is served in a sytrafoam bowl size of a ramekin and is 90% unseasoned grits.

I'm not sure what is going on w/ their coffee, but it is always weak and old tasting. Based on the quality of the food ingredients, I can only assume it's due to extremely low quality/cheap beans.

You would think that the waffles would save the experience based on the emphasis they put on them - sadly, they are equally as underwhelming as the rest of it. There is nothing special about them. No special batter or preparation method. If you have had a waffle from the continental breakfast at a cheap hotel/motel, then you've already had a waffle from Cornerstone. Always underdone, overly soft, and too chewy. Toppings are extremely mid.

Love the location, and the staff is super super friendly. Very welcoming place. Unfortunately, the price and quality do not come close to matching up.

Best selection of sugar free flavored lattes we've ever seen. Food was delicious, servers were seriously friendly. Favorite coffee shop in Harnett county!

Dietary restrictions: The sugar free latte selections included more options and superior coffee. But the key is the coffee is just plain good!

I really wanted to love this place. The atmosphere and inside of this place is beautiful. They also have really cute outdoor seating.

The issue was the service and food. There was one other couple here, and it took a long time to get the food and drinks. The other issue was the food. I ordered an acia bowl. It was basically soup. It was overfilled to the brim, so when I opened it, it went everywhere. The fruit inside tasted frozen too?

My guest said the coffee was good!

First, I love this little cafe. That being said, the food is outstanding, but the portions are small (which may appeal to some). The prices are reasonable. Sides are an additional charge, which I found a little unusual. Service was a little slow, but to be fair, they were unexpectedly overwhelmed by an unusually large group of ppl from a local women's club shortly after we arrived. All in all, you'd do yourself a great disservice if you didn't check this wonderful little cafe out for yourself!!
