⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First time stopping here while heading back to Jacksonville, NC off I-40. We didn’t want fast food and this was the perfect choice (I believe, they have a drive-through option). The dining area and tables were clean and well kept. Autumn our server was outstanding. She was the only person taking orders and serving around six tables, yet handled everything effortlessly. She was attentive, efficient, friendly, and never once looked flustered. Truly impressive service and the kind that makes a place stand out. The food was just as good—fresh buns, great meat, and flavorful sauces. The sweet sauce was my favorite. This stop was absolutely worth it, and Autumn made the experience even better.

Great food at a great price. Table service and food was out in 5 minutes. Nice people working there. Bathroom was just a touch skeevy but not a dealbreaker, likely just overlooked during busy lunch hour.

Heading home from vacation in Florida and decided to stop in here for dinner. Best meal of the trip! Service, food, and prices were all top marks! Between the three of us we tried fried green tomatoes, pulled pork baked potato, hot dog with Mac and cheese, and a plate of burnt ends with fried okra and baked beans. All of us just about cleaned our plates—even the kid! Okra was the best I’ve ever had. Pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Burnt ends were delicious; a couple were a little hard to slice through with a fork. Both Eastern and Hot house-made barbecue sauces were fantastic on the meat. For dessert, we shared a banana pudding. Also the best! Kenyetta layered it fresh and brought it over. We left with zero room in our bellies. If we’re ever down this way again, we will for sure stop at Daddy D’s!

Amanda was an amazing waitress and the service was superb. This was our first time and we will definitely be back.
I’m not gonna lie. The food is really good, but when I first walked in the one behind the counter, she seemed like she had a slight attitude, but after a while, I guess her attitude faded away cause then she started being nice and smiling, but me and my girl had a good time. The atmosphere is kind of quiet, but the service is OK. She did come fill our drinks up without asking. I suggest you get the brisket and the mac & cheese. Trust me it will not let you down.

It was good. I got the burnt ends which were ok. Dryer than I expected. I was not a fan of the baked beans. We also got the brisket which was tender and potato salad which was good. My mom got the hot dog which she loved. I will try something different next time.
