We ended up at this restaurant unexpectedly and are so glad we did! It was authentic and family-owned. We got the quesadilla and Al pastor + chorizo tacos. The portions were big and the food tasted great! They also have drink machines, we got horchata. There is also a bar with self-serve salsas and pico/cilantro/limes. We really enjoyed this restaurant and recommend it to anyone passing through Benson.

I had the Best Chorizo Tacos and Flauta today!!! And I mixed the pineapple and cucumber juice and it was delightful. I will be back. Friday for lunch!!! You can’t beat the homemade tortillas! The service was excellent too! This has instantly become a regular place for me!

I ordered cake without chili and they put it in and said let's just take it away. But there are seeds left and from there we give it to a baby under 2 years old and one seed is enough for him.They charge for the refill but the large cockroach that I killed myself under our table is free.But everything tasted good.Little expensive but tasted good.

Seriously good tacos. I got pollo, barbacoa, and chorizo. All 3 were great but the chorizo was bomb ? best one of all and maybe best taco I've ever had. I like that you put your own onions, cilantro, pico, salsa, etc on to your liking.My husband told me about this place and insisted on taking me out for lunch. It is like 25 min away from home! Thank you for an excellent lunch, it was worth the trip!

Order food online toke my money decide to close early told me they didn’t get any order but still toke my money and never give it back so so not eat here they will take your money won’t give you your food wish I could give it zero stars now I have to go though a frustrating process cause of this

Had the beef tacos a year back and had forgotten the name of the restaurant but have been able to track it down, this restaurant was the bomb , amazing marinated beef with soooo many salsa options which were spicy and so so delicious, when I come to Durham again this restaurant is on my list.

We did not expect that anyway.Carnitas plate comes with fresh made corn tortillas like it should . Tacos all good. Pico de gallo was fresh and crisp.Rice and beans just like my home taqueria. Mexican Coke products and fresh horchata completed the meals.Mariachi music videos playing on the TV, discovered La Fenix.Could the place need a makeover and post COVID update..
