I was greeted by a young man, he took my order as soon as I walked in. A young lady handed my food to me, I assume he left. A few employees were standing around, the Manager came from the back and they were all talking about another employee CJ.(Unprofessional) Managers should never discuss an employee with other employees. Grits were not good at all, we waited a long time for them to prepare more. Another employee came in and was cursing loudly in front of customers (unprofessional) people have to be mindful of what they say and how loud they say it. Oh last thing PLEASE do something about all of those flies!!

It’s waffle House. If you come with realistic expectations, you will be very satisfied. Cheap food, always great service, and staff seem to always get along like family.

We (An African American family of 4) stopped at this location a couple days ago, Wednesday 4/3 about 10:30 am to be more specific. There was two white males in a booth, one white male arriving at the same time and another Hispanic family preparing to leave as we arrived. Another white male arrived shortly after we were seated at the lower counter booths. STAR was working the counter and this African American server was THE WORST! She never spoke, never made eye contact, talked to everyone else like we were not sitting there and the cook even asked her who she was talking to when she was repeating our orders back to us while making a call to the kitchen. She was not attentive and had a nasty ass attitude when dealing with her. STAR obviously hates the fact she works at Waffle House by her demeanor. She did not offer any assistance to us; no drink refills; nothing. The manager on duty was MORE ATTENTIVE to us than STAR ever was. I asked for lightly cooked hashbrowns covered and smothered. Arrived incorrect and asked for new order that was also incorrect. My husband requested the cheesesteak plate and received steak with no cheese.
Positives: We did receive friendly service from the other African American woman on duty and the Manager throughout our time while STAR stood the register with her back turned to us.
ADVICE: Coming from one black woman to another… STAR, reevaluate your choice of career and your unprofessional attitude to paying and tipping customers. You’re being evaluated and potentially interviewed for future opportunities than could come your way. You never know who you are serving and how you impact someone’s experience at this establishment. Waffle House is Waffle House but I don’t have to be served by less than pleasant people/workers.

This rating is for third shift on Sunday. Was in the restaurant a FULL 15 or 20 MINUTES before I saw an employee. The restaurant was completely filthy and the waitress that finally comes out the back is nodding out from drugs while attempting to pour my drink. It literally took a MINUTE AND A HALF once she started poring the milk into the cup before she finally got it half way full and once she stopped, she had nodded out soo low that her head was level with the counter . I told her forget my order and left
This Waffle House is the cleanest Waffle House I have ever been too. The cook ari is doing an amazing job keeping this place clean and the food is great
