Aside from the old, ignorant, Racist clientele that seems to frequent this diner, the place is great. 50's decor deck the halls of this establishment, and it looks nearly identical inside to another 50's style diner just around the corner. The food is better here, though. I can't complain about any of the food I've eaten here. Everything is top-notch. The location is horrendous now with the detours and road closures.
Went with a friend late afternoon for a Frosty to the Wendy' at 210 Highway. Got chased out by an employee hollering we're closed inside. Didn't you read the sign? Well no, I didn't. I was talking with my friend and the door was unlocked. Told us we had to use the drive-through. We did. Asked why we couldn't come in and was told they were low on employees and couldn't manage both. Hmmm. There were no cars wrapped around the building. Hmm. We parked...
I ear here frequently and am always satisfied with the food and the friendliness of the staff, but this trip as I was approaching the entrance there was a Wendy’s employee 4 feet fro the door SMOKING!!! As a non smoker I do not appreciate the haze of smoke I had to walk through to get in the door…
