Found this little gem just driving through from one town to the next and it seemed to have plenty of business inside and drive-through and we love to find these little town diners and try them out (which is usually hit or miss) but this one was a great find and it's American family owned. The people were super nice and so on top of it- we said our drink and like a split second later it was right in front of us (speediest service ever) and the man taking our order was so nice and personable. It was a real pleasure to go there and if I see a chuck wagon steak on a menu which is rare to find these days so I always have to get it and it was the best chuckwagon sandwich I have ever had- pure quality (unlike most other places these days that have cheapened all their products for higher profit and it shows). My mother also had a BBQ plate and loved it and I had corn nuggest with my sandwhich which were delightful- I also appreciate how they let you substitute the fries for any other side items cause that's another thing that places aren't allowing for as much these days either. I highly recommend getting off the interstate on your way through and drive on over to McDonald's Family Restaurant where they are doing things like the good ol' days.
