Please note- Address;4763 Highway 11 north Bethel, NC 27812 This place is a great hole in the wall. Right next to a gas station, very unassuming.We ate breakfast, lunch, and got a to go dinner for later as they open 5:30a - 2pm M-F. Closed Sat/Sun. They had really good chicken tenders they had just made for the gas station hot bar next door. They were good. My hubby got the chicken gizzards- he said they were very good.We will be stopping by again when in the area,

The best fried shrimp in Greenville at a very reasonable price. Sides are great as well. I've not had anything there yet that I didn't like. Service is good and staff are friendly. Its not fancy but clean and comfortable.I eat there at least once per week.

I honestly love the place. What I absolutely didn't like is the Lady of the establishment taking her employee's tips out of the jar. That they have to split up amongst themselves. they work hard for the money. They do go above and beyond! I just don't agree with that! I will go back but for sure I'll leave my tip with them in the hands of the employees!Vegetarian options: they have a veggie plate that include 4 veggiesKid-friendliness: my granddaughter loves them. she was a fan of Old Man Jerry.Parking: front of the building or side parkingWheelchair accessibility: wheelchair ramp right at the front door. easy access!

Stopped off here on a road trip from Maine to Florida. The ladies were SOOOO nice and I had my first fried pork chop sandwich. Lemme tell you!!! This was a 3 week trip I was on and this was the best thing we ate the whole time. My boyfriend and I are still talking about it. Just spent 45 minutes googling to find Smitty’s to leave this review and commit the location to my memory so if I’m ever near by I can go back!!

Yesterday I was there. The food was great. The three that are related mom, daughter and grandma energy is truly unmatched. Yesterday the white lady short hair was so rude. I went home told my husband I never seen her act as such. She have amazing employees! I WILL NOT let her attitude stop me from getting my Oysters and Ribs and Cabbage on Wednesday. I'M GOING TO PRAY FOR HER AND HER STAFF BECAUSE Yesterday just wasn't her day.

This place is like an Oasis in the desert, there is almost nothing nearby, very friendly service, excellent food, all very good people, service staff and customers helping someone passing through, like me. It is a place where I would like to return. Alberto.
