Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Hwy 55 is normally is awesome. I order extra shrimp, no extra shrimp included. None of my sauces were included. I made it very transplant for the individual I was speaking with to add tartar sauce, ketchup, and etc. I was given only Ranch! I called back someone did apologize, but said nothing about correcting the issue! That's a problem for me. Do not order from this restaurant! I truly believe it was based on who they were talking not realizing who they really talking too. Do not order from this restaurant!

I Could not taste the mustard on my hot dog. This has happened several times though.

Came in for the first time after work last month. The bathroom was filthy, kitchen was dirty. One employee kept awkwardly looking at me as I waited, the other was rude and clearly angry about something. It made the whole environment uncomfortable and odd. I bought fries and paid $4 dollars for a lil concrete that they ended up putting in a tiny 2oz bowl. The employee just kind of shoved it towards me while staring at me awkwardly. Having hypoglycemia issues, I just took it, left and decided that'll be the last time I eat there. Don't know what the heck is going on in there...Take the trip to Richlands if you want it to be worth your money.

My husband and I came in for a small dinner, and were immediately met with smiles! We ordered our food without any inconvenience, and received it hot! And in a very timely manner!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and the food was delicious my husband and I were not disappointed! And I can’t wait to go back and eat from there again!!

If my order would have been right I wouldn’t be so upset but how you get an order wrong when you’re completely dead. I went in and there was one two top. Manger in the back on his cellphone scrolling TikTok or whatever. He did agree to remake my food but no apologies or sorry for the inconvenience. He was just trying to get me off the phone.

I never really cared for highway 55. But today confirmed that. I went in at 5 an ordered my food to go. And I waited 30 min for my food. Remind you they weren't even busy. They bagged my food up an put it with my ticket on the counter. It wasn't til I asked if my food was sitting there that I actually got it. The lady that took my order was too busy playing w her hair at the counter. My fries were cold, My burger was soggy af. I asked for a cheeseburger w, mustard, ketchup, an extra pickles. It had LOTS of ketchup, hardly any mustard an 2 pickle slices.. I will NEVER go back there. They could do better..

During my visit, I observed several concerning food safety violations. The cook did not wear gloves while handling food, including raw chicken, and proceeded to touch various surfaces throughout the kitchen, potentially spreading harmful bacteria like salmonella. Additionally, I witnessed the cook openly coughing over food on the grill without covering his mouth. These practices pose serious health risks, and I sincerely hope I do not become ill as a result. For the sake of food safety and public health, I strongly advise others to avoid this establishment until proper hygiene and sanitation protocols are enforced.

This place is filthy. I briefly worked here & when I started, I came in with a you got time to lean, you got time to clean mindset. Every. Single. Time. I was cleaning something, for example: wiping down napkin holders, female owner says u dnt have to clean that, it's just going to get dirty again. I guess my face said something bc she then went to explain that the fuzzys from the napkins being pulled out drops back onto the holders but my rag was black from the filth I was cleaning off of them. I thought if I took the initiative to clean things properly, others would fall in line, but nope 🙅‍♂️ the final straw was when I kept smelling death behind the icecream area & when I pulled the table out there was a live trap with more than 5 or 6 dead mice & behind the counter area & grill & fryers is absolutely disgusting. I didn't come back after my first week because nobody cared that it's filthy & I was pretty much waisting my time trying to do it myself. I can not represent a restaurant who doesn't make cleanliness a top priority 😒

Every time you go in this place it looks filthy. The food is ok, but this place always looks nasty., Apparently the owner has a couple of other locations in Pink Hill & Castle Hayne, and they look the same.
