Food definitely better than average North Carolina Mexican style restaurant. We did have language difficulties. What was ordered was a cheese enchilada turned out to be ground beef. Attempt to substitute a carnitas taco for an upcharge for the ground beef taco on a luncheon plate, just turned into the lunch plate as described plus a carnitas taco on the side. They are determined to serve their ground beef.

We were skeptical but hungry and Casa Mexicana did have the best reviews out of the several restaurants in the area. We were delighted from the moment the guacamole and queso were set before us. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted fresh and yummy. Service was a little slow but I’m ok with that when getting quality.

Got the "beef" fajita and it was just OK. Meat needed more flavor to the spices added and I wish they included more sour cream and guac. Taco salad had small portions and not enough lettuce/veggies on top of the ground beef on the bottom.
