We stopped in on travels from Winston Salem to Wilmington. Good was great, fast and the staff was so nice. Would definitely stop again if back this way!

We were told everything was made in house. Once we received our meal, we determined that was a lie. We had fried chicken, pork chips, barbecue, mashed potatoes w/gravy, cornbread, and okra.

Food is always good! I love the small menu so you are not overwhelmed with choices! Perfect portions on the plate, and fair prices. Staff are all very friendly ! Pulled pork and smoked chicken are my fav!

My husband and I ate there on our way home from a trip. It was pretty good. The fried chicken and macaroni was good, but the white slaw was dry. The peach cobbler was good as well. My husband said the bbq was okay, but nothing special and didn't care for the baked beans. Service was excellent and food came out quick. Our waitress was very kind and attentive.

Ordered a chicken liver Plat it was hard and like crumbs from the bottom of the fryer terrible we have eaten here lots of times same Plat we loved thear chicken liver till now I called and talked to management and told them my complaint he listed to my complaint but did not offer to make it right that is not a way to keep customers check your food before you leave to make sure it ant overcooked and scraped from bottom of fryer.

This is a hidden gem! We were passing through from Goldston on the way back home to Charlotte and searched goggle for restaurants near by. I am so glad we stopped by. Service was fast and efficient. Everything we ordered was fresh and

Delicious barbeque. The fries were amazing! They have a veggie/vegan option which was great. Service was excellent. A delightful find on a road trip!

Horrible.The chicken tenders were not chicken.More like airy fluffy junk .Idk what it was but first time we ever went it was great and couldn't wait to go back .Sweet pot casserole was old dark and gummy .It was a horrible meal for me and my son who got the same.Trashed it ,was not edible.Will NEVER make a trip to see them again and I do not recommend to my friends and family.

Very good BBQ. Served hot, and wrapped neatly. Good quality meat and nice sauce with extra on the side without asking, which was a pleasant surprise. Food generally was quite good. My main knock is the pricing. The menu, at least outside, does not reflect current prices which are 50% higher. The menu does state that prices are subject to change at any time without notice. While this was not particularly meaningful to me, I did bear witness to an older couple traveling through town that felt bamboozled regarding the cost and urged the staff to update the menu to reflect current pricing.

Disappointing.
We both got the "specials" with a tea and it was $32.00. I don't think I've ever left so much uneaten food on the table. We literally took a couple of bites of everything and that's it. I do not recommend this place. I'm sad that this is what the locals have to eat.
