Ordered the collard sandwich to go and asked for hot sauce. I was disappointed in the small container my food was in for the price we paid. The cornbread was good. However, the collards theirself was not. I don't like all the juice in the small container and I'm not a fan of such big leaf collards. A word to the wise? Use the regular Styrofoam plates when serving this dish. Also, but then collard leaves up more. One last thing, no juice is required in the plate, drain...
I cannot explain in words how amazing their burgers are! I’m not from North Carolina and have been wanting to try some new food places. My husband and I drove from Lumberton and it was by far one of the best burgers we ever had! We both ordered the jalapeño burger and it was amazing! It did take a little while for the food to come out because it was freshly cooked with fresh meat, but it was worth the wait! The staff was great! We will definitely be going back!
Service is lacking at times, but I never eat inside so it doesn't really bother me as long as the food is cooked...
