Food was mediocre, lacks flavor service wasn't great. Seems like it would be a great place to eat if you've never had good Mexican food.

Prob the best Mexican food I've had in a while. This little gem in Bladenboro will be our Friday night go to! The restaurant is a bit small as far as sitting large groups but that's ok, We enjoy that about the place, Excellent customer service. Prices are right and portions are great!

I have never had nothing bad to say about this place. Have always praised this business... But I returned and was very disappointed... many issues with the food... made me very sad as this was one of very few places in bladenboro I choose to eat at.. And for the price I really expect my food to be amazing ... I don't mind paying for good food but what I received this visit really was not worth the price I was charged.

It's a small restaurant but the food is amazing. I've tried multiple different items on the menu and it was all delicious. My favorite is there grilled steak burritos.

My daughter and I meet in Bladenboro about once a month because it's halfway between my home in Pawley's island and hers in Raleigh. Bladenboro doesn't have many restaurants, so we usually eat at El Torito. We have been there 3 times now. She gets the AC shrimp and 2 of the 3 times she's loved it. I've had a combo, which was ok at best, fajitas which were pretty good and lastly a taco salad which was more like soup than salad. It was swimming in grease and water. When I said something to the server, she said, "Yes, that's how our ground beef is." I asked her to change it to a chicken taco salad. The chicken was cooked well, but the shell was soggy and tasteless.
The service is some of the worst service I've had. I would give it less than one star if possible. You have to get up and ask if you need anything at all while the server acts like you are bothering her immensely.
We are going to try a different restaurant next time.

A good place to eat, but I recommend training the staff to provide better service to the diner.

Honestly, just isn't good. I've had good mexican, and it wasn't from this place. Only had it twice, and realized I could make this just as good at home.

Also, based off the reviews I have read, the owners can't take constructive criticism and seem to think the customer is the reason the food isn't good.

I ordered the grilled steak burritos with cheese sauce and salsa on top came with side of rice and beans. It was horrible. Not grilled tiny flour tortillas that were cold. No cheese sauce or salsa on top. Looked like watered down pink sauce. Only a few pieces of steak all onions. The rice was cold no flavor it was a light brown color and the beans were cold nasty! This place lied about the price. Completely different price online. And she said it went up to $12.95 and charged me $14.95
Worse MEXICAN I’ve ever had!
