We dined at Over Yonder with friends and we were busy catching up and forgot to take photos (sorry!). The food is fabulous and the service too. It's a cute little farmhouse style restaurant that's a bit tucked away and up some curvy roads. We started out with a few appetizers: pimento cheese, okra, and sourdough. The okra was a huge hit with our crew! I had the pork burger and subbed butter beans for the chips. It was a cross between something Barbecue and a burger- YUM. The butter beans reminded me of my grandma and were equally yum. We visit the area from time to time and are very likely to come here again. I highly recommend it.

This is a very old house and the floorboards squeak, which makes the ambience really sweet for a date night. The food was excellent but the bartender can make a really excellent old-fashioned.

Stopped on for a coffee and got a cold brew milkshake thing instead. Very good.

I think this might be my new favorite restaurant in the Boone area! We went here for my birthday and the food was AMAZING! I had the braised pork loin special and it was so tender and flavorful! Plus the portion was huge so I was able to take the rest to go. The porch and interior is so charming and it looked beautiful at night. Definitely look forward to coming again.

Food was great ! We tried both soups roasted red pepper tomato soup and the gumbo soup. The gumbo soup had collards, okra, sausage -they both were fantastic. I don't like catfish(my husband ordered it) but this was delicious, didn't taste like catfish, was very fresh. The chicken sandwich delicious, I ate the slaw and all and I don't like slaw! The service was great, waitress very helpful and the ambiance very cute country style, clean and smells great! The toddy and latte were also excellent . My kids had sloppy Joe,collards and Mac and cheese, all were good. The dessert also excellent we had the chocolate chess pie and peach cobbler yum! I'll be back younder next time we visit!!

We were visiting from out of town and wanted traditional southern food. Such a unique place with delicious food. We sat on the front porch after dark and it was a super cozy romantic meal.
