Will not recommend. I was not served until staff finish their/her conversation. Scone was very under baked ( raw dough in the middle) and not a real scone.

We always love coming in and grabbing a coffee or pastry but as of the last few times it just hasn’t been the same. The quality and consistency is lacking. Hoping I was there on a couple of off days

The coffee is excellent, 10 out of 10. Unfortunately, they do not accept cash. I disagree with this on a fundamental level and feel it should not be legal to refuse cash. Sadly I will not be back untill that policy is changed. I will not support an establishment that refuses the dollar.

I live in Minnesota now but used to live in North Carolina, and I’ve visited this shop in downtown Blowing Rock many times. Because I’ve always liked their black butter beans, I ordered a bag online for $18. The price had gone up from $16, but I assumed I was still getting the same 1 lb bag I’d bought before - especially since their website shows a full bag but doesn’t list any weight.
When the order arrived, the beans were clearly not the same product I’ve had in the past. They were smaller, looked different, and the bag only weighed 11 oz. I contacted the business through Instagram and tried all the phone numbers listed online, but none of them worked. Even the Chamber of Commerce didn’t have a functioning number for them. I received no response from the business at all.
I’ve supported this company for years, but this experience has been extremely disappointing. The product was not what I paid for, the quantity was short, and the customer service was nonexistent. I’m leaving this review so others know what to expect before spending their money here.

I’m sorry but this was a terrible experience. The guy taking the orders was rude to everyone. I only got 2 hot lattes and one was hot and the other was lukewarm at best. Everything was dirty in there. It wasn’t worth the price which was pretty high for what it was.

Ambiance is very nice, good place to work/study. However, staff did not say a single word to me and the coffee did not taste good. I order a mocha that did not taste remotely like chocolate, sweet, or even good to begin with. This is my second time getting it and it tastes the exact same. Please do better!
Been coming here for years, they stopped taking cash i guess because they don’t trust there employees. Also I can’t have sugar and they quit caring stevia.
Went here yesterday and worst experience ever the cashier was very rude and seemed to be taking his frustration out on costumer. I got the Bigfoot and campfire mocha and it was absolutely disgusting I took 2 sips of the campfire mocha and threw it away due to it just being milk. I would not recommend this place to anyone
