This was our first and last visit. The staff was rude, staring us down while we looked at the menu and making a snide remark when we asked a simple question. The coffee was awful and barely drinkable. The only thing worth having was the apple cinnamon scone. It was also incredibly expensive, almost $40 for two coffees, three pastries, and two stickers.

Lattes were watery and had no flavor. Couldn’t drink them. Like they were made with spent espresso grounds.

Very flat coffee, weird-take-it-or-leave-it service, and got one of three things in our order very wrong. Sausage egg cheese biscuit seemed warmed over from a couple days before. I have been coming to Blowing Rock on weekend trips for years, and always look forward to getting coffee here, but seems to have changed and I certainly will not be back. This is very disappointing because small local coffee shops are something I love, but this one no longer delivers.

Coffee was good, the barista was nice but the cashier seemed annoyed we were taking a minute to order and there was no line behind us. My Wife just didn't order.

Nice coffee shop with friendly staff, however wait time was longer than expected both with a long line and short line on different mornings. Coffee was decent, but not a favorite.

My favorite coffee shop in Blowing Rock! Love stopping in for some espresso and power balls before hiking! Love the seating upstairs, too!

I just had the best decaf Americano I’ve ever had in my life here (not even exaggerating) and I’m having a lot of intense feelings about it and so I’m posting this 5 star review to try and calm down a bit.

Lovely coffeehouse with good quality coffee beans and a nice selection of syrups. Their baked goods are always delicious as well. French Toast Muffin was a big hit. I recommend this place to any coffee lovers visiting Blowing Rock!

Atmosphere was great, parking is very challenging, coffee is good, but the staff were pretty rude and seemed really inconvenienced to take our order. I wouldn’t return based on the service.

Coffee Shop No. 492
Camp Coffee Roasters
Blowing Rock NC

Camp Coffee Roasters is a little coffee shop in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, a charming little mountain village. The downtown area sits about a mile from the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway (connects the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina to the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia).
Camp Coffee Roasters has a cozy vibe and an obvious appreciation for the outdoors. It might have something to do with their neighbors; Footloggers, an outdoor store. Be sure to climb the stairs near the front door of the coffee shop. They lead to a loft, overlooking Footloggers, where you can relax in a wing back chair or get some work done at a table near a window. The barista was friendly and made a respectable cortado.
Enjoying life one cortado at a time!
