We have dined here several times. Gourmet food at moderate prices. Beautiful restaurant, “mountain modern” style. Always great service. If I had any criticism at all, it would be that the menu offers a fairly limited selection of entrees

With a beautiful interior space, a very talented chef with a changing menu featuring local ingredients and a nice wine list it is a nice addition to the dining scene in Blowing Rock.

The food was very delicious. The service was a little slow and the noise level was very loud. They gave nothing to absorb any sounds. Even when the bartender threw a bottle in the bin it was heard throughout the restaurant. Need to put some sound absorbing panels in please.

Beautiful restaurant with very convenient parking which is a big plus. The breakfast was meh. Not bad but not good. The service was very pleasant. We only tried breakfast so I can not speak to their other meals.

I love the vibe of the bar but the service is always questionable. They always seem to be under staffed and the staff they have is not very experienced. The noise level is off the charts in the restaurant- you can barely have a conversation ?

This was our sixth visit. Food, service, atmosphere always top notch, and parking at the door is a plus. Management says they're working to reduce the noise level. It was not crowded on a rainy Monday night so was not noisy:

We absolutely loved our time at the Embers! We had Bella as our waitress and she is so adorable and attentive. The restaurant is gorgeous with a large hearth, lots of windows, and a fabulous bar! Both of our drinks and meals were perfect. We will be back! Actually went again today on the way home.

We have had Sunday brunch here twice and WOW! The food, ambience and service are amazing! Standouts are black eyed pea hummus, Caesar salad with trout, and salmon BLT! They have some amazing looking specialty mimosas. Looking forward to trying them! Run don't walk. You will love it!

My wife had a plain biscuit and I had the biscuits and gravy breakfasts. The biscuits were dry and overbaked. Gravy was very mildly flavored. I had to ask for a coffee refill. When refilled, my wife's cup was ignored. The hostess was charming and delightful, however, was somehow unaware of the hooks that were provided on the table stands for hanging purses/bags/hats. The first impression did not induce a desire to return.

Service was extremely good and for much of the evening it was quite energetic in the bar. Food and drink were high quality and we all enjoyed ourselves. Having a drink outside before the meal was great as the weather was perfect.

The staff from the moment I checked in until the end of my dinner was amazing. They were incredibly busy, but they were courteous and thoughtful and pleasant and efficient and professional. The food was delicious. I had an excellent experience and I will definitely return..

This is a new place and I see nothing but good things in its future. The chef is making positive changes. My only criticism is the lack of out door seating options if we wanted to eat something. My salmon was dry and for the price of my meal that should not be the case. I'm definitely giving them the benefit of the doubt since they're new and will be back.

Wonderful meal at this relatively new restaurant (the hotel opened in April). The trout was perfectly prepared and not overly seasoned and the filet was also perfectly cooked with artisan carrots alongside. As it was a birthday celebration, it was a nice surprise to have dessert come out with a candle and was also on the house. Alexa was our server and she was great. Beautiful atmosphere and great quality food in the heart of Blowing Rock!

This was our first visit to this new Blowing Rock restaurant. Ordered sweet corn soup, burratta, grilled watermelon salad for starters and apps, prawns & grits, and short ribs entrees. Can't rave enough about how great everything tasted. We'll definitely return when we're back in Blowing Rock.

This a new elegant, sleek decor restaurant. To start we enjoyed the oysters with a special sauce - a bit too many flavors in the sauce - simple would be better. Very much enjoyed the turkey meatloaf and the salmon entrees - both very well done and tasty. Good value to allow corkage fee of only $15.
