Waited at the bar for 45 minutes and only got a water. Poor service.
In terms of food, it is one of the worst Outback Steakhouses I have ever been to, the meat was overcooked and a little burnt, the potato had no toppings. The attention was excellent.

We tried every high rated "Steak" House from Blowing Rock NC to Banner Elk NC. After a friend mentioned Outback, we decided to go. We only eat steak and meat once in a while, so quality is important. Four months in the mountains and found this the last week of our stay. Wasted time and money traveling when this restaurant was right in town. Our appetizers were delicious. Wine selection was great. Steaks were done perfectly! Salads freshly prepared. Yummy bread and the waitress were extremely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. There was no room for dessert. We definitely will be returning next summer.

All the food has the Bloomin Onion seasoning. So it all tastes the same. My seafood pasta and the porkchops for my husband had that same seasoning.....so if you order the Bloomin Onion as an appetizer their is no relief. We ate only half of our meal because of it. Then took left overs home.
