Authentic English pub feel, with a delicious variety of menu options. We ordered the fish and chips, along with the shepherd's pie and a few pints of Irish red ale, absolutely loved it. Staff was extremely friendly, gave great recommendations and were prompt service.

My second time and last time here. I strongly question the cleanliness when people are sitting at tables with dogs on there lap with no cage no leash and servers don't say a word. I know places are "dog friendly" and they are typically sat at outside tables. Sounds like management needs to do more training with there staff. People maybe leave your pets at home. Not all the general public wants to be around them.

I come here every year I'm in blowing rock. Great beer selection including old speckled hen on draft. Food is good. Service is always good. Can't go wrong here for a casual pint and food.

I visited Six Pence Pub on Halloween. I am a bit handicapped and my husband and I walked a long way due to bad directions from our maps app. When we came across the pub , we decided to get out of the heat and fill our bellies. We had a delicious meal ( pot roast & the bangers and mashed.) Our server Jordy was excellent! When it came time to walk back to our hotel my feet just couldn’t do it. So my husband left to get our rental and come back for me. To make a long story short, he lost me. But the staff at Six Pence Pub were so helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable while I waited for my husband. They were so kind. When my husband finally showed up I felt like I was leaving family. Thank you Six Pencers!!! ❤️

My boyfriend and I went to Blowing Rock for our anniversary this weekend and ate at Six Pence. Our waitress, Marianna was amazing and knew right when to check in on us. The food was warm and delicious. I ordered the soup (which was the soup of the day) and salad. My boyfriend ordered the salmon BLT. His food was just as good as mine. Definitely will be back!!

Warm and cozy! Just the place you want to be after a chilly walk outdoors. The Irish coffee warms the soul. The service was excellent from the hostess to the server. French onion soup was excellent but the house made bread pudding takes the cake! It was one of the best I’ve ever had. The ambiance offers the comfort of your favorite Irish pub with dark wood and warm textures.

I'll always go to Six Pence when in Blowing Rock or Savannah. We've never been disappointed. The October fest style beer was served with the glass rimmed with cinnamon...great touch! My wife is GF and can always find a menu item. I had a hankering for bangers&mash and chose collards as a side. Loved it! Corn chowder was delish.
