It was an all around wonderful experience. The staff was very helpful and polite, they made me feel very welcome. The food was delicious as well as the beer. We started with fried pickles and then I had the Turkey Ruben on Pumpernickel bread with fries and my husband had the Shepherd's Pie.We will most definitely be coming back.

Wonderful atmosphere and food... service was below average though. The bar staff seemed to he good, just our waitress was beyond horrible and honestly shouldn't have a job there. Messed up our orders multiple times and forgot to refill our drinks multiple times and had to remind about this many times as well. Had to request things 4 times before others had to step in to assist. The other servers seemed to be good, we just got landed with a waitress who was terrible at her job.

Our waitress was amazing and happily made great recommendations! Food was good and the wait was actually shorter than they told us it would be. It is a pretty small place and it was busy which kept a cold breeze blowing at our table every time someone opened the door. Try getting a table towards the back - it was toasty away from the door ;)

We’ve had some nice servers in the past but the host section this time was abusive. Left after 40 minutes on a waitlist when we were then told they were no longer seating. In the end, a good lesson to just go to the Twigs bar on Friday nights. Bye

Wow this spot in Blowing Rock is super. Our awesome bartender was Lindsay, she is our new favorite Blowing Rockian'. She was on point with drink provisions and abc regulations but most of all helped us feel cozy and welcome to this warm spot.I had the scotch eggs which were perfection, in fourths, and very beautifully presented (and had a cool tangy sauce with it). The girlfriend had mac and cheese bites and was in pure splendor. Ooh! Under Lindsays recommendation a pour of Carra rosé proseccoooooo. This was the hit, sip up, have three. The people here were friendly and we chatted with them a bunch. Great vibes here.Shout out to back of the house (Berto, Ceaser, Prince Lord) for great apps.
