Terrible food. If you want below-average bar food, this is the place for you. I had the hot dogs, and my husband had the burger, and neither was good. The atmosphere was boisterous, and the restrooms were filthy.

Greeted and seated quickly. Our server Julianne was excellent. Tried the French onion soup and grilled cheese both very good. Hubby got fish and chips and said it was excellent. Also got onion rings and they were great.

The jerk “ in charge of the remote” would not change the channel. It was week one and he’s wearing a raiders jersey. I asked five different times to have a TV changed to the Giants game. No response at all. Then, when I finally got upset enough to leave, he tells me he can’t because that TV is connected to another one. It took me getting upset to get that information.

Food was good. Giving 2 stars because it took us 20 minutes to be greeted by our server. The crowd had died down so much at this point. They were just clueless and it didn’t seem like anyone wanted to help us out after I said something. But the server we did get was super sweet!

Reason for the 2 stars is the food just was not good. It had no taste and was almost done lazy way. Ordered a Patti Melt and a Philly Cheesesteak which was recommended. Neither had any real taste or seasoning. The big positive is that the servers and atmosphere were great. One other item I had was the tables outside were covered with that mold that outdoor furniture gets when it hasn't been cleaned in awhile.
We came here for lunch after hiking in the area. They have a large patio space, which quickly gets crowded on a nice day. They are dog friendly on the patio, too.
What we got: Crab cake sandwich with broccoli salad Buffalo chicken wrap with pasta salad
I'm going to guess that this place is better for the bar/tavern type food as we enjoyed the buffalo chicken wrap. However, the crab cake sandwich was not good - it did not have much crab and the outside was very crusty/crispy that the focus of flavor was that outside coating. I love broccoli salad, but this one was different. It was like shredded broccoli with dressing and not much more. The pasta salad was like your typical grocery store bought pasta salad, it was okay, nothing special.
Overall, I was not impressed with the food we got, but it's a lovely setting and wouldn't mind going back to try something else.
