I have enjoyed the different dishes, especially the chips with different types of sauce. My recommendation is that they have more broth options on the weekends.

I recently moved to Burgaw. My husband and I decided to try El Mariachi one day and it was delicious. The service was fantastic and quick. I've been 3 times and this is my new go to Mexican restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

This place has really been an accent to burgaw the food is great and the people are very nice I just wished they had pick a better building for parking other than that one out of 10 a 10

So I went here tonight and ordered food to go. We paid with cash and the girl didn’t give us back our change. Then she noticed me looking at the receipt and I asked my husband did she give him his change. He said no so then she says oh did you want your coins? As if it’s under a certain amount you can just keep the change. And this is after they charge a to go fee also. So then she goes to get it which took a while. So when we get home my shrimp fajita is basically shrimp soup with soggy limp onions and peppers with no taste. It wasn’t fresh l could tell it came out the freezer. Well this will be our last time going here we’ve tried 3 different times to eat here and the food is never good.

Food was amazing. Had the lunch special, with a burrito that was one of the best I've ever had, along with a soft taco and rice for $7.99. Service was great, will definitely be back when traveling through.

Food is usually great but tonight, the ACP had no cheese on top and was over cooked and dry.For the chicken fajitas, it was chicken, burned peppers and onions plus they did not put in the rice or beans or salad into the take out and guess what, there were no tortilla shells in the order so I had plain chicken with burned peppers and onions.And there was one family in the restaurant when we picked up the order and all the staff were on their cell phones and it was not taking orders.Our order was over $85.00 for take out.Guess who will not waste another penny there.Management best pay attention to what is coming out of the kitchen or there will be less and less business!!
Food was delicious, I live in Wilmington but would drive there for the Mexican food. Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant since I've moved to NC in 1995 from TX.

Customer service is awful and the food was ok. The beans were dry. Don’t come in at 9:15pm for take out, you’ll get the dirtiest look. I must have taken away their text and chisma time. lol Then again it’s expected since most of them are teens. I wouldn’t be surprised if they go out of business like all the other restaurants did from that location. I’ll make sure to eat earlier next time and ride down to El Mirasol. At least they’re welcoming. Good luck Mariachi!

??HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Will NEVER go there again.??I’ve eaten at El Mariachi before about a month ago and the food was excellent. Went in to order to go tonight. I had raved to my parents about how good the food was.2 employees doing absolutely nothing at the front door. The minute I ordered to go, for 4 people, it all changed.They shoved me over to this young kid, standing there eating while he’s screwing our order up bad.The kid was too busy eating, his chocolate sticks to concentrate on our order. A nice girl came to help, but she didn’t know what she was doing and it took 2 other people (yes, 4 people) plus a photo of their own menu on my phone to place a simple, standard menu item.It was a wreck.Food was gross. We were missing one “Chili Poblano” of 3.I verified that these Chili Poblanos had meat inside. They verified yes, and were supposed to be fried. Nope. The two we got were a container of slop. The food was so bad, after I found hair inside of my beans (deep) coming out on a chip, I stopped eating and threw it out. Health and safety codes should look into this.What happened to your place? I drove 45 minutes round trip to go there.We didn’t get what we paid for, missing food, horrible experience. Food was incredibly bland this time.Don’t think we will ever be back. How did you guys go downhill in 2 months or so, this bad?No wonder your restaurant had nobody inside and wait staff sitting around bored doing nothing and kinda upset we wanted to take food home.I’m going to call in and complain to the manager there tomorrow. Your company won’t survive at this pace. Taco Bell Would have been better.
