First time going to American Deli and ordered the Philly steak and cheese combo with fries and wings, I get home, and there is no meat on my sub, only mustard, lettuce and cheese😡😡😡😡. Called the American Deli in Burlington’s Cum Park plaza and get nothing but a voicemail and it seems like a personal cell phone number. I will not be eating there again. Btw, I live 20 minutes away from American Deli😡😡😡😡

I’ve eaten at this place with my fiancé a few times so far, usually late at night since they’re open till 2am and we usually get the burger and wing combo, it’s always been hot and delicious! The burgers are so juicy and perfectly charred, and the wings are crispy and tender. I definitely recommend!

It is listed online that they close at 2AM. We waited in the long line, then finally got to the speaker to order. No one said anything for minutes, then proceeded to tell us that they close at 1:45. When other times, I have been waited on later than 1:45.

Use to deliver Doordash and received many orders for this place. Food always looked and smelled good. Large menu. I got the cheesecake sandwich and it was delicious. All of the employees have always been very nice. An unknown gem to many in the area just because of the location.

Got the food door dashed. As soon as I opened the container my food was in, it smelt horrible. It was the smell of old fryer oil that had such a foul oder you could tell the oil hadn't been changed in some time. I threw the food out because I couldn't trust it was safe to eat. A lot of money wasted.

The American deli in Burlington nc. Has to be the worst place to eat ever. Myself and my wife walked in the restaurant had a funky smell like dirty mop water. They also had the music so loud you could barely hear someone talking to you. So we ordered two steak and cheese subs, the guy at the register could not speak English very well, nor could we really understand him. That should have been my note to leave but we ordered and stayed. So we got the food. That had to be the worst steak sandwich I ever had in my life. It was almost a whole green pepper on my sandwich. The steak was not seasoned at all. The fries were not cooked all the way. They didn't have any sweet tea available. We tried to eat what we could but mid way thru eating we gave up, it was just to unbearable. The sandwich got more disgusting with every bite. It cost us 22 dollars for this disgusting meal. I would say eat there at your own risk. For me never again.

Paid $15 for 5 wings and some bread l. Then when I went back saying you can't be charging that much for that was told they cook it by portion. I wouldn't suggest spending your money here you will not get the value of what you spending Mykonos is way better.

Today was my first visit here. I ordered the chicken Philly and it was still piping hot when I got back to work- 5 -10 mins up the road.. There were 2 orders in front of mine but I received my food fairly quickly. The cashier was nice and personable. To the owner, I would consider revamping and refreshing the lobby area. Good food and the current lobby doesn’t really go well. To the manager on duty, I would suggest keeping the music behind the counter to a minimum to maintain a professional establishment. Will I return, yes! Just wanted to provide a broad review that I believe would be helpful to the business.
I usually come here every week, and never had an issue, but I came here 7/18/25 around 10:30 pm and I experienced a very awful situation, I waited at the speaker for my order to be taken for around 10 minutes then finally when I got to the window, I asked for 2 ranch with my 10 piece wings they gave me my food no sauce in the bag I asked the cashier who already had an nasty attitude and she said it was in the bag and I told her that there was no sauces in the bag and she said yes I put the sauces in there I took the food out and show her that there was no sauces then she stated that I have probably already took the sauces out, which it was very disappointing! I asked her what was her name, she didn't want to tell me her name, then I asked for the manager only to be disappointed, he barely knew English and was very rude he took the cashier side, refuse to give me my sauces I asked him for his name and he also refused to provide he's name, very disappointing!!! I will never be back here.. I really hope they can fix the management and staff, food is great but customer service is a 0 star. Is very disappointing with the young pretty lady but very rude, and idk if the manager should be in a position where he can't communicate correctly with customers.

Wish I could rate the food. But the 2 stars is because I called food in at 1am And was told it would be done in 10 minutes.
So I go there to pick up the food at 10 minutes and was told I had to wait in the drive thru surprise surprise there are 4 cars in the drive thru taking forever.
Didn’t even get to try the food. If they would’ve told me that I had to wait in the drive thru would’ve just ordered at the drive thru.
