Best hush puppies I’ve ever had! Burgers and fries are hot and fresh! Great friendly service. I highly recommend!!
Food made to order and obviously with love. Black family owned and operated. No inside seating but 3 picnic tables under shelter outside. Cheaper than any fast food chain you could name and food tastes real because it is. Also, made faster than modern fast food and so far never wrong. Husband cooks while wife and kids take orders and run food. Me and daughter usually just get $6.95 cheeseburger and fry basket. Can drinks or homemade sweet tea like how Bojangles used to make when they actually cared. Sometimes they got soul food better than your grandma makes. We go twice a week but business is slow. It'd be a shame if they went out of business. Reminds me of places I ate when I was a kid. Nostalgia for the win.
Kid-friendliness: Mom and dad obviously cared about their kids' education and social graces. Extremely well-mannered and intelligent. Treat my daughter like a person and not an eyesore accessory.
Parking: It's an old gas station & car wash without the pumps or power sprayers. 4 or 5 spaces up front but gravel could hold more if needed.
Made the ride and not disappointed! Very good stuff!! Very friendly owners! Just an all around great place!
Ate on picnic tables outside. Big yard behind restaurant while you wait. The kids meal had gummies for desert. Wife had what amounted to a Whopper Jr. Meal. I had Broadway Burger meal. Even with the upcharge for Strawberry Lemonade and the tip we were out in under $30. The lady behind the counter was fantastically friendly.
Found out about this spot through a coworker. Thought I'd try them out. The wings were ok, but the soul rolls were ??. The customer service was professional and welcoming. The only critiques I have is my wings were a bit too done which made them a little tough too eat, and the menu needs to be updated as you no longer offer the $5 special for 2 soul rolls. Other than that, I will definitely be returning.
I’ve been around a good little while and most of my work is out in tha country. Therefore I look for little places like this. They are usually good but this one In particular, is dam awesome. The food was banging, the customer service was extremely pleasant and it was just a neat little place. I will most definitely be back when working in the area.
My first time at the restaurant and it was a great atmosphere. The food was superb and the prices was affordable. I will definitely be coming back for more of those “Soul Rolls” ‼️
Parking: The parking was very accessible.
Recommended by friends and it did not disappoint! The Soul Rolls were amazing as were the chicken wings. Carolina cheeseburger was huge with lots of my favorite fixings. A must try!
Here goes my experience…1. Location was scary2. Inside the restaurant was scary3. The lady seemed nice until the worst took place later on3. I ordered their Broadway burger with fries, which I thought it would be good based on reviews from other people. The burger had a strong smell like it had been butchered right there an thrown on the grill with no flavor. The taste also had a wild taste. Secondly, the fries was salty. I went back in to let the lady know how the fries were salty and the burger had a weird taste and she just looked at me and said ( what you want me to do about it? I can’t compromise you because it’s a small business own restaurant) like what? what does that got to do with anything? I even asked her if that was her in a restaurant were you paid your money and the food wasn’t good, what would you do? Will you just sit there and not speak up and let them know?? First of all, The food wasn’t for free.Well, I spent my money, I didn’t enjoyed the meal, their service was poor and what was the end results? the food was thrown away ☹️ This was my experience, hopefully you guys have a better one than me.
My favorite place to go for lunch! Everything is delicious, cheese steak sub is one of my favorites. Great service and always smiling staff.

Broadways Grill is absolutely great homestyle and country cooking. Small restaurants in the country often have great food and are cooked to the order.Food and drinks are carry out, outdoor dining under a shelter with picnic tables, or catering. The employees are very cordial and professional. My wife and I are glad to have found this restaurant. We plan to go back often to eat of its other food. The restaurant is located at the intersection of 5407 North Hwy 119 N (Burlington, NC) and Pleasant Union Grove School Road in the Pleasant Grove Community of Alamance County, NC.It is a quick 12 to 15 minute drive north of the Mebane city limits.
Great food with great prices! Banana pudding was to die for? Very nice place with very polite and friendly staff!
Great food. Great prices. And very friendly staff. 10/10
The food is awesome as well as the service at least I thought. My family and I came after picking my daughter up from school around 2:20. There is a note on the door that says they will return in 30 mins due to picking kids up from school. Totally understand so we decided to wait. At 3:10 a lady comes out and says it will be another 30 mins. Very bad experience all we were trying to do was get good food and go home. Now after a hour of waiting with a 5 year old and a 2 year old we have to drive all the way to mebane to get food. Very disappointed.
Great food, great service! Food was delicious and everyone was incredibly nice.
