I was having such a rough day, and just needed some cajun fries with an oreo shake. I genuinely felt horrible genuinely driving through the drive thru and long line, however these two adolescents, a tall white blonde guy and a short white brunette truly made my day. They had the most genuine joy on their faces, absolutely glowing, and then they handed me my order and it felt like the heavens were talking to me. Truly amazing customer service from these two phenomenal individuals.

This cook out used to have disgustingly rude staff and cashiers but I can say that it has completely changed..nothing but a great attitude from the young lady who took my order and the young lady at the window…food was fresh and napkins were in my bag.

My daughter came to pick up an $80 order for our family-8 cookout trays-while the line was backing up, she pulled off while checking the food. They were missing 2 whole trays but received all 8 drinks. She pulled back in the same line and explained we were missing 2 trays. The manager bri asked for her receipt. My daughter explained we didn’t have the trays where the receipts were taped too bc they didn’t give her a receipt. Bri told my daughter they would not give them the food bc they were trying to get free food. My daughter didn’t know what to do, so she repaid for the 2 trays and came home. I came back up there after the customer service line went to voicemail. I spoke with Bri. I showed Bri my bank statement where I paid twice for the order and I would like a refund. Bri was disrespectful and said she couldn’t do anything about it. When I asked for a number or someone else I could speak too, she told me I could call the number on the cup then she closed and locked the window on me and wouldn’t give me her name. Another employee was trying to help us and got us a refund for the two trays we double paid for explaining it wasn’t worth an issue. Within a few minutes of getting home Dana with customer service called me back and was super helpful and apologetic and gave us vouchers for our trouble, knowing that’s not how Cookout does business. I will never go back to the Huffman Mill Rd location bc of my experience there with Bri, but I am extremely satisfied with the way Cookout rectified the situation. I truly hate to see young people and elderly get taken advantage of in situations just like this by people like Bri.
This place is cheap and good. You get a lot of good food for a fair price. Don’t let the long line deter you, it moves fast. I did not take a photo of my order because I was starving to death and couldn’t risk a fatality due to waiting for a photo.

If I could give a -1 I would. The lady at the speaker was rude and rushing. She told me my total twice before I was even finished ordering. I wanted the cookout tray she rang it all up separate and still didn’t get it right. If she would slow down. I ordered a Cajun fry (which I got plain with no salt or anything) so I went back and as soon as I got to the window to say something she was rude once again talking about “I can’t hear you” with an attitude (I have the flu I can’t really scream).
