Ox tail plate Now I been eating here since they open But for some reason the cook must have had an off day. The food was very salty (cabbage, macaroni,rice and peas) the oxtails didn’t have no gravy on it. This is the first time it ever taste bad to me

Im new in North Carolina and was searching for good old fashion Jamaican food. I see 4.5 starts and it close to me so I call in an order had my daughter pick it up before her work day begin. I will first start with the fact that I called it in 30 mintues ahead of time. However, when she arrive she had to wait an addional 30 minutes before the food was ready. She called I told her to leave it but she decided to wait, after being there 30 minutes already. She drop off my food and was hurrying off to work. I ordered the jerk chicken, peas and rice, cabbage and plantains. I took a bit of the chicken and i immediately text her after one piece of the chicken to let her know that the chicken was tasty. To be fair the 2 pices on the top of my old left over peas and red beans(which mean they just gave me what was left over from perhaps from yester years put it together and Bam you eat this)food frozen for at least 2weeks rice and tasteless cabbage I had the displeasure of biting into the other 2 pieces of chicken on the bottom and was very disappointed to the point of disgusting. The chicken was so hard salty and old. Did not someone tell them that chicken that old tells on itself. To end this review let me say this: Never again me at this disrespectful restaurant. Eat their at your own risk and watch what you are given to eat. Disappointed and disgusting.

First of all I respect all carribean places of food service. I bought a beef patty with cheese with cocoa bread they said the have beef with cheese already. Fine so I ordered It! Only to get a piece of cocoa bread that was not sliced until I asked for them to put It together! Furthermore the patty barely had any beef or cheese in It. We are dealing with times where we want our money to be worth what we a pay for. Total disgrace.. I’m sorry they are a disgrace to the culture 7$ slice of cake. Garbage patty and bread. Food lion sell a meatier patty. Cmon now Dixon tighten up you business a boom only for the fools in the room.

I really wanted to like this place, Love this place as there are really no good “soul food” restaurants around. But I ordered the curry chicken, rice and peas and cabbage and EVERYTHING was bland. The “curry” was hardly curry at all, at least not what I’m used to. (I had to put my own curry on it when I got home).
This was more hot spice than a curry flavor and the cabbage was very bland and there were little peas, hardly any peas. Ughh.. glad I got the small plate for $9. Needless to say I don’t think I will be going back! Also, when I got in there they had a Totally different menu written on a chalk board than online. I wldve prob gotten something different.
