This place was one of my favorite places to eat and I was a sad to see the menu had changed so drastically. But while I'm not a fan of the fusion type of cuisine, I could see someone who likes it really enjoying Golden Dragon. I'd recommend it to people who are into that for sure. The food is always pretty great, the staff are nice and very helpful, and I've never had a bad time here. While I personally wont be returning, I do urge people to give it a shot.

We love all the dining options in Greensboro where we live, save one thing. We've never really jived up with the Chinese restaurants in town. It's not that they're all terrible. But they all feel like settling because we really wanted Chinese. We ended up heading over to Burlington to try this out. The Chinese/Mexican fusion idea felt like it was worth a try. I'm not sure this is really "fusion," but it doesn't matter, because the Chinese food was really, really good. The bento box had so many different things at a great price. It came with general Tso's, rice, crab rangoons, corn nuggets, a street taco, and wonton soup, all for $14. We can't wait to go back to this place next time we're over in Burlington.

This restaurant has improved greatly with the new owners! The food is really delicious and flavorful now, under the old owners the food was bland tasting. I hate to see the negative reviews, i want this place to succeed, it's become one of our favorite places to eat. I don't care what the haters have to say, I like having a taco with my Chinese food. The service is very good and the staff is friendly.

Food was really good for a fusion place. The wonton soup was really good the wontons had a smokey flavor. The egg roll was delicious. The fried dumplings were on point. The lunch special was good too. I would definitely come
New ownership.!!! The food is NOT good anymore. The prices are higher for less food and now it even tastes non-appetizing.

Since the old owners left this place is horrible. Food is some of the worse I've had in a long time and they had the nerve to keep the old menu knowing they couldn't cook the same dishes.
Love eating at the New Golden Dragon. Food and service were great!

This place used to be good they might as well go ahead and change it to a Mexican restaurant because the Asian food isn't good anymore

First time here as we wanted some Chinese food at a dine in restaurant that was not a chain. This location was recently taken over by new owners and have updated the menu to include Hispanic food on the menu in addition to the Asian cuisine which I don't think works and seems to be the same general consensuses from others looking for certain staple Chinese food like Sweet and Sour Chicken, Pepper Steak and more. They really should switch back and keep it more focused on Asian cuisine instead. (Just based on my thoughts and others feedback we heard while dining too)Service was pretty good but there was no body else dining in but there were about 10 take out orders while we were there. Food came out in a decent amount of time but not all at the same time (was over a span of about 5 - 10 mins) for all of us to get our food....which was weird.Chicken and Broccoli -- was ok but really needed to have some more flavor, a little less velveting, but portion size was good for the price.Sesame Chicken and Genera Tso chicken had good flavor and presentation but many of the pieces of chicken were fatty making the kids be somewhat picky about the food. The Pork Lo Mein and Pork Fried Rice were both tasty and a good portion size.Price was about normal and on par with other restaurants and take out Chinese restaurants, portion size was good, food quality and taste needs to be kicked up a notch, and the whole fusion thing needs to be re-thought.I think they have a good restaurant on their hands and with a little work and promotion (they are in a busy area) that they could do well for both dine-in and take out.
