My fiancé and I stopped at Harbor Inn Seafood Restaurant in Burlington, NC for the first time, and unfortunately, we left disappointed. We ordered the large fried oyster dinner with coleslaw, hush puppies, and french fries. My fiancé started with a sweet tea, but it tasted borderline rancid, so we sent it back and swapped it for a Mountain Dew, which was fine. Has always been the best seafood restaurant around. Wait staff always friendly, food always good, and affordable. Especially for the large portions! Has always been a highlight of Burlington. Hope they stay around for many more years.

Burlington has a true staple when it comes to seafood, and this spot never disappoints!

I ordered my usual: the (SMALL) combination platter with baby fried flounder and popcorn shrimp — it's my go-to and always delicious! The baked potato and cole slaw on the side were perfect (and yes, I had to get extra sour cream for that potato 🥰).

I’ve loved this place for years — it has that cozy, homey aesthetic that makes you feel welcome...
