This retro style 50's reaustrant serves up good ole fashion food with a smiling server. She checked up on me to see if I was ok, and if she was busy someone else checked up on me. I usually get the same thing and is what I expected it to be. That is what I go there for. Thank you Hwy 55.
This is a great place to go for a quick bite to eat or desert. It is priced very well for the portion sizes. I had the steak and cheese and it was big with plenty of meat. It was served hot, however I couldn’t give five stars due to the fries being a little cold. Still, I’m sure I will be back one day.
I like the vibe that the place sits off. Young kids working in there, like a lot of places nowadays. Right off the start, I thought the service wasn't going to be great because of the young kids working there. I was correct. It was like 10 minutes before the girl took our order. I made contact several times with other employees before she came over. The place wasn't crowded either. We had to ask for soda refills both times. The food was good, cheeseburger, fries,hot...
