All K&W locations are PERMANENTLY CLOSED as of 12-1-25 according to the message @ their website 12-1-25! I visited the Burlington location a few days ago & I got a bad feeling - looked like things were going downhill / out of a lot of food!

This restaurant was a great stop for our travel team (43 people). The Manager came and met with us personally and helped us with speedy service. The amount of food was well proportioned. If you didn't get enough to eat, that would be your fault not theirs. No one on our team walked away hungry. The service from the whole restaurant was outstanding. Wish I lived closer. You won't go wrong if you decide to eat here. Thank you!!

Ok enough is enough. this resturant has depleted their ratings over the past few times Ive visited (within 6 months) - When you walk in youre hit with a dirty mop water needs to be changed smeill and filthy floors. You are also seated in dark dirty carpeted areas. The food lines are mediocre- today there was only FRIED food versus baked/ options and the vegtables were heated in oven too long so appearance was terrible/ looked burned. COME ON K & W we need you back to what you were established for - family friendly delicious food options and convenience - all of which are currently sub par.

We were there when it opened and the food was already cold. Limited selection. The roll was too hard to even eat. The worst thing was the unpleasant smell of the restaurant. I mentioned it to the hostess who really didn't seem to be surprised. I know why so many K&Ws are closing.

The food was as it would be expected, warm and filling .they were out of salad but they looked short staffed beside the girls hanging around the register, I heard one waitress tell them you got time to lean you got time to clean ! They should be busy cleaning it's not gonna happen on its own .
K and w cafeteria used to always be my go to place since I was a child. And traveled with my grandparents now. I used to seek them out whenever I was on the road. They have definitely changed and not for the best K and W is I went to in Burlington. And Kannapolis, North Carolina stopped serving 7 layer salad, which was my favorite and it appears. They only serve fried food with the exception of fish. they should always have more grilled choices for those of us who don't eat fried food. And the last time I was in Burlington. They didn't even have tartar sauce for the fish. It's a shame How they used to be really good home Cooked food, but now types have changed. And? I suppose, I will just have to go to the Standby Cracker Barrel. What a shame.

Popped in just to get a take out dessert. I was told by cashier at the door I cud go straight to desserts rather than stand in line. That didn't work out too well as a man chewed me out for breaking in line. I hadn't been there in about 3 years cuz the food was continually marginal, at best, and very overpriced. Well, that's the LAST time I go there for ANY reason! ! Just too bad this area doesn't have competition cuz there's some awesome cafeterias in other states.
