First time visit to very large decorative Mexican restaurant in Gibsonville. The interior lighting was a little too dark for me, however, large, expansive dining room was decorated with amazing detail complete with wide screen TVs showing the NCAA tournament. Delicious food served quickly by a friendly waiter who checked on me often.

We were in town on an errand and decided to meet my wife's parents for supper. The food was delicious. The service was not great, but to be fair it was our server's first night and he tried his best.

The food is always really good at this restaurant. I took my cousin there for her first time and she fell in love with it too. I think that the name of the dish was ACP Taco shell. DELICIOUS!!!

The food is great and the staff is so kind! This is one of our favorite restaurants to eat at. I have had chicken and beef dishes, and it was always made to perfection. You’ve got to try the queso too!

The quality of food was very poor especially compared to some of the other locations in the chain. The chips were stale and bland. The salsa tasted like soap. The chicken in my grilled chicken quesadilla was completely devoid of flavor. The rice was hard and chewy. The only good things about my dining experience was the sweet tea and the waiter. I was very disappointed and I cannot recommend this La Cocina location to anyone.

The nachos seemed old and were tough. The salsa seemed less than fresh. The entree was ok, but I can get better in this area. Service was almost non-existent. It was toward the end of lunch. There were few customers, but lots of staff. The waiter returned once to ask if I'd like more tea. I said yes. He never returned. A young woman came by about 15 minutes later and asked if I'd like more tea, but when I told her I'd asked earlier with no results, she seemed irritated. I got a check and left. I would never return.

Have visited several times. No one is ever at the reception area...have to find employees. Waited 10 minutes to get our check. No employee in sight! Food is ok...but not very tasty!
