Saturday October 4, 2025; My experience was totally different from the above reviews. The young man that prepared my pizza was very kind and generous. However once the pizza left his hands and was passed on to the cook. This young man was scratching his hair, touching mop handle and , mop head….Sticking his hands in his pockets... Just being very unprofessional and un sanitize. I kept waiting for him to wash his hands. The manager and the other young man who had prepared my pizza, were all standing there laughing and talking with each. They were watching him and one of them said something. Not one person encouraged him to wash his hands. The three of them when about laughing and talking as if this was normal behavior. I looked at the three and thought there’s no need to address this issue. I watched as he box the pizza and asked did I want cheese or peppers. I said “no thank you and I exited the restaurant.”I drove home feeling like, I had just wasted twenty bucks. Needless to say I threw away the pizza. People it is very scary out there in these restaurants. I will never return, I should have known better, when I was the only customer on a Saturday in Mod Pizza Shop.

Food was amazing, they double charged me for a small fountain drink and “couldn’t” give me a refund for it. Then tried to offer me a dessert or a bottled drink, I didn’t want either of those options, I want the money back that they wrongfully took from me.

I usually have good experience at all Mod pizzas. And I prefer a heavily loaded pizza with all cheeses, and 8-9 toppings. Usually that turns out very delicious.
At this location though it was very dry, toppings were barely added. Seemed they looked at the order and put 2-4 pieces of each topping. The crust also was very dry.
This was on my way from Charlotte to Raleigh. So it's not my regular MOD location.

If you'd like topping this and Brooke fired Pizza, this is the place to go, even their gluten friendly crust is delicious.You have choices at different sauces.I do mine have pesto and half spicy sauce. You can have more than one type of cheese.They have mozzarella and feta and goat cheese and asiago. There are so many meat and vegetable options as well as a vegan meat option AND dairy free cheese

This was my first experience at MOD pizza, and I'll definitely be back! I'm not sure what his name was, but the guy making the pizzas acted like that was his passion, making the perfect pizza for you. You can tell he doesn't just see his job as a paycheck, he enjoys doing what he does. This was our first visit, and he was very patient and even offered suggestions. But when that pizza came out of the oven, it was SO delicious and beautiful. This was a good experience, and we definitely plan on going back!

The atmosphere is ok, nothing to rave about but not too bad. The pizza is good and they have a wide selection for both pre-selected pizzas and build your own. The main problem I'd have is that they push you to join this rewards type program. In and of itself, well, ok not really an issue. Except that our card got hijacked by some sort of hack and we ended up having to sort it out with the back and get new cards. So definitely beware of that.
