Publix may be friendly to weird people (live and let live...), but not so much to old folks who are seriously tripped up be a cart that seems set to lock the wheels when trying to cross over to the next parking lot with a car bearing down on them. I am a reasonably fit 74, but I do have foot and back issues that almost literally threw me to the pavement, and stained those parts in a reflexive effort to keep cart and self upright and out of the car's way. It seams there might be a geo-locating mechanism on the cart designed to prevent carts from "wandering", but I had no clue till it caught me totally off guard.Thanks (NOT!), Publix

Best Publix in NC! Great subs, and an upstairs seating area to enjoy a fresh meal away from home without the restaurant mark up (gratuity, etc).

Always top-tier I did a catering order they confirm my order I called to ask questions they were very helpful I pick up time was exact and my food was ready just as I had ordered customer service as always been excellent store always clean and in order Love it

I was disrespected verbally and got threats from an employee that works there in the pharmacy section and I called HR twice and that employee never got fired and she still has a job there. Customers can be called out of their name on clock and won’t be fired. I will continue to fight this fight because that is not acceptable

Ran in the store to grab the best fried Chicken around and you guys were completely out, Torrance took action and saved the day. I was super impressed with his customer service and truly grateful for him. Because of Torrance I give Publix a 5 Star review! Thanks again Torrance!

My five stars goes to the deli clerk named Torrence! I want to thank him for his care and patience making my food! Highly appreciated. I was almost disappointed with the way another deli clerk was making my sandwich, but Torrence stepped in and took the initiative to help and do it the way I was asking. For that I am grateful. Again thank you and wonderful customer service from Torrance.

Following a disappointing visit last week, I decided to give the deli another chance and was pleasantly surprised. The staff, John (or possibly Justin) and another gentleman whose name began with a 'C', were fantastic! They've turned me into a lifetime customer after I had almost given up on Publix's deli. It truly felt like a last shot, and they nailed it!

The store was busy but noticeably clean. I was at the bakery counter. Two friendy associates offered to assist me. The cashier was also quite friendly.
