The absolute BEST Philly cheesesteak around! I am from NY and their cheesesteak blows away ANY cheesesteak I ever had in the past. I got mine the first time with french fries and this time I got the fried okra. My wife got the hamburger with the potato wedges. Everything is made so fresh and hot that it’s restaurant quality from a dang gas station.
In fact the cheesesteak is so hot that it took a good 10 mins to cool down before eating so anyone who’s taking their food home that’s a good tidbit to know ahead of time.
Will forewarn everyone the guy who cooks at the grill comes across as like the soup nazi character from Seinfeld if anyone knows which episode I am referring to. He reminds me of an old captain on a ship from the 1800s. He’s from the south, crass, and abrupt, but honestly, I am from NY so I have a thick skin compared to many born and raised here. The negative reviews are basically about him so just understand ahead of time- take him with a grain of salt because he’s an awesome salty cook! 😂 It’s funny because the blonde headed lady who works there is from Rhode Island I believe so imagine how that relationship goes 😆 I’m attaching a pic of the current menu besides the dishes we got today 11/26/25. There’s also food not listed on the whiteboard and you can of course customize your choices. Basic food basket/platter includes a side and large fountain drink. For $10 per platter, good luck in trying to beat it….or find the amazing quality and freshness!! 😋

excellent customer service in the store and Ruby's Grill is exceptional! The chef was kind, helpful, descriptive, and made THE BEST Fried Bologna sandwich everrrr! and the BEST ever BLT! The tots &fries were so good and perfectly fried & seasoned! I want that Bologna sandwich every day foreverrrr! It was worth the hour drive! we will definitely be back!!! and they have a little hardware store and the market has a big variety of things. We tailgated it but there is some indoor seating in the hardware store part and a picnic table in the middle of the gas pumps! love it!!!! Turned out to be a great date!

One of the best surprises. After a hike, wanted a drink. Wow, surpassed all expectations. Clean, food was extremely good. For only a few dollars got enough fried okra to share with 2 other people. Chicken sandwich tasted fresh. People were exceptionally nice. All 3 of them working there. Food was well prepared. Store had a few essentials and good prices at that. Will be a regular stop after the park from here on out.

I must say they have many beat today. Great hospitality. The service on point. Food is all southern love. Let’s not talk about prices because they are out doing many today frfr. 💯💙🫡💪 definitely will come back again. If in the area give them a try. I stumbled upon this restaurant one day as I was delivering in the area and the food was so good and the people were so friendly. It’s a 30 minute drive from us, but we made it our business to go back again. Some of the most friendliest people I’ve ever met, and say the food was amazing😂 a definite 10 out of 10.
