I visited Salvation Coffee Co. for the first time over the weekend. They are very friendly and the coffee was AMAZING! I got a coffee to go from the refrigerated section of their establishment and it was also amazing! I love that you can purchase premade lattes that can be enjoyed at home (genius idea). When I’m back in that area I’ll definitely go back.

Today was my first time coming here because I saw someone on tiktok give a review about the coffee here saying it was good. That person was correct the coffee here is really good and the people that work here are nice as well. Overall I would come here again when I’m back in the area.

I have been a regular customer at Salvation Coffee for about a year and a half. I love everything that they make, and as a local student, I often receive gift cards from family members to be able to get myself coffees. Today, I went in and upon paying for my order with my gift card, I was told that it would be empty following this purchase. It was a brand new gift card, and I knew that I had spent less than the balance of the card. I asked the cashier about this, as I knew it was my first time using it, and one of the baristas interjected into the conversation and told me that it was empty, and I must not remember spending it previously. I attempted to communicate that this was not the case, as the gift card was brand new to me, but I was being spoken over and essentially told that this was my mistake and that I was at fault. The barista offered to give me my gift card back to email her the card number so she could see when the money was allegedly spent, but the cashier never gave the card back to me, so I am without it and not able to pursue a solution. I do not write this review to gripe over the small monetary amount in dispute from the gift card. I am writing because the experience was embarrassing, and left a bad taste in my mouth. As a regular customer, I have never experienced anything like this before, and am simply writing to encourage certain members of the staff to practice communication with customers as to prevent a similar situation from occurring in the future.
