Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q

Ordered online and has a friend pick it up. I asked for extra hot sauce the were prickly about asking for extra. I ordered more than $20 off food. The staff member refused. When I received my food less than 40min from pick up. Everything was cold. The fries were either soggy or over cooked. And to add insult to injury there were just two packets of hot sauce…

The food was cold and I waited a long time . A customer was waiting and the lady behind the counter yell at him and the manager did nothing. Need to get adults working there to many kids

I love when I go and Jayce is my cashier such a people person and pleasant to deal with she’s always kind and smiling !!!! She always tries to be interactive with my little girl as well !!!

Delicious fried chicken in a cute casual classic diner setting. I got a snack that just had two pieces of fried chicken and hush puppies. Very simple but delicious! This location is right off the highway and easy to access if passing by!

Good food and great service. Ladies behind the counter were very friendly. I ordered the chicken tender sandwich with fries and both were freshly fried and good to eat. Sweet tea was very very sweet so heads up if you're not used to the sweetness of the tea down here.

Smithfield BBQ is my favorite. Their fried chicken is the best I've had anywhere. Their food is consistently good and their cleanliness is an A.

Order #64 on Saturday, August 31, 2024. The service was fast, restaurant not too crowded. I ordered the 8 piece chicken only that came with 2 dozen hush puppies. Did not have to wait long and my bad did not check the order until I got home. 7 pieces of chicken, a breast was missing. The food was really good but in all fairness I can’t give 5 stars. Maybe hard to understand this southern accent?

We ate here today for the third time in two months. The food we received was good and fresh but every time in the last couple months we have had an issue with our order. This time we ordered a tailgate with bbq and the bbq wasn’t in the bag. I was rushing and didn’t check the bag when pulling off unfortunately. I tried calling 3 times to let them know before I drove back but no one answered and the one time someone picked up they immediately hung up. It’s just frustrating that 3 times in a row we have had an issue with our order or something left out. I have kids and it’s not easy to drive 15 min there and another 15 back home with hungry kids bc something was left out again. The quality of the food is good, I just wish something wasn’t always wrong or left out.

I haven't been to Smithfield in Burlington NC for about 10 months. I ordered wings with 2 sides. The wings were awful. You can tell they were cooked frozen from how tough the meat was and there was barely any meat. My teeth and jaws are still (20 min later)hurting from chewing so hard. On top of that they were so small they looked like chicken nuggets instead of wings. The potato salad was good but my coleslaw was warm. Years ago I stopped eating at the Greensboro location because Burlington's chicken was better. These restaurants go up on their prices but down on quality and quantity. I spent $15 for a garbage plate (Rochester NY ?)Smithfield Chicken in Burlington NC is now exception.

Officially tried Smithfield’s for the first time in my life and I’m glad I chose to eat from there tonight. The Fried chicken is pretty good, and the barbecue has a good taste. I’m not a huge fan of their potato salad BUT it was still not bad.

Everyone was very friendly and Check-in on you to see if you wanted anything to drink, food is yummy and their sweet tea was to die for it was soooooo goooood

Wings were extremely small, no meat. They threw the food on the table with the fries served on a sheet of paper instead of the plate and part of the fries slid off the paper.
