I was absolutely blown away by the food at Tacos Azteca! This place serves up some of the most authentic and delicious Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve.
From the tacos to the sides, everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The quality and authenticity really set this spot apart from other places in the area. It’s a true hidden gem in Gibsonville, and I’ll definitely be back for more!

I absolutely love traditional Mexican food—it’s hands down my favorite cuisine. Lately, I’ve been indulging in birria from different restaurants, so I decided to try this spot today because it was affordable and arrived quickly. Let me tell you, the food didn’t last five minutes in my house before it was completely devoured!
The authentic flavors were incredible, and I especially loved the structure of the birria tacos. They were packed with tender, flavorful meat and had the perfect balance of richness and seasoning. But the real star? The consommé—hands down the best I’ve ever had. Everything was satisfying, delicious, and well worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Must try place! The food was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend the Torta or the 🌮 Tacos. My 6 year old said they were the best tacos she’s ever ate. 🤣 my server was very attentive and the manager was very nice. The atmosphere is great all around. Idk how I didn’t know about this gem of a place. My new favorite spot to go Now for taco Tuesday. ❤️

As part of my eternal quest for good chilaquiles, I have Tacos Azteca a shot. Wow. Near-perfect chilaquiles, with homemade sauce, nicely cooked eggs, and hot sauces on the side. Very good one.

We were passing by on a long road trip and starving and ate here. Amazing food, some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time. My husband gave it a 10/10. All of the tacos were beautifully cooked but we loved the birria queso the most and the steak quesadilla was amazing, best beans I’ve ever had.
You can tell a lot of love and care go into the menu and the food.

The worst service in this place when I entered I ordered a six dollar tamarind water without ice and for ordering it without ice they punished me the girl immediately started laughing with the other girl who was sitting at the bar and started serving the drink another one arrived Her boss was giving her a check and he blocked her and gave her the drink to give it to me when I was leaving. She was laughing and then the glass broke and the whole drink fell on me. When she turned to look, they were laughing. I went in and They couldn't stop laughing, they already had the spare drink ready to give it to me, they just handed it to me without stopping the three of them laughing until I left without offering an apology or anything.
