This establishment took my online order and while I was awaiting my order I continued to entertain guest and without knowing, they cancelled my order. I received no indication of this and I had to then rearrange my dinner plans for my guests on a whim. Very inconvenient and very embarrassing for myself. I would never recommend this place because they obviously cannot be depended on.

3 years and you still cant eat in. Sign says due to covid and staffing issues. I grew up in burlington and have eaten there lord know how many times never seen more than 3 people working there and they never had any dining room staff, get your food go the the table and eat. As for covid we all know by now we have to live with it and we know how to deal with it. Its kinda become an excuse when literally everwhere else opened dining rooms over a year ago.And honestly the food quality has drastically dropped. The meat was chewy and pieces of it were cold. Used to absolutely love the place. Doubt I go back now sadly.

Very bad quality. This Hibachi should not be called hibachi. The vegetables (green Beens and carrots) come straight from a can. Will not visit again or recommend

This food was terrible. Order delivery. Teriyaki chicken and fried rice. Seaseme chicken. White rice. Crab ragoon. Egg roll.Teriyaki chicken was not hibachi style. It was unseasoned STEAMED chicken with sauce on half of it after cooking. Teriyaki sauce is thicc , not in the good way. Egg roll and crab ragoons were good but i ordered three orders. Online it shows 3 in an order. I got 4?i ordered 3 of these total. For 3$ a wonton essentially. Ok. Seaseme chicken, old. I ate about 4 pieces as this was done before i just threw it. Green beans with japanese food?! Nooooo. !! Sauce not good. Rice ok i guess but not great. Waste of money in a big city.

The delivery from DoorDash was great. The food was terrible. $16 for hibachi chicken/steak — it was large pieces of tough meat with canned vegetables and rice covered with soy sauce on top. Disgusting— ?. I called and the man who answered the phone did not care at all.

I've lived here in Burlington NC for 62 years and I've never tried this place until tonight, OMG!!! Tokyo Express is THE BEST JAPANESE (Chinese) FOOD THAT YOU WILL EVER PUT IN YOUR MOUTH ?!!! If you are wanting Chinese or Japanese food then this is the place to go! I will NEVER go to any other restaurant for this type of food, it will definitely have to be Tokyo Express!

This restaurant never fails to deliver fantastic Japanese food. I love alternating between Tokyo Express and Shanghai Chinese in Graham. Can’t get enough of either of them. Here’s the box I always get, and it never fails to fire up some dopamine. I put some white sauce over it, cuz it’s just superior (they hand out the sauce, as well as ginger). As of now you cannot dine in, it’s just take out
