Tropical Smoothie Café

The only the reason they’re getting 1 star is because id amit their food and drinks are pretty good. The customer service on the other hand is horrible. We waited 20 minutes in the drive through just to get our order taken. Then when we were finally handed our smoothies they closed the windows and told us to have a nice day without giving us our quesadillas. So we had to wait an extra 15 minutes. The point of the drive through is to be quick. I’ve been to this location multiple times and everytime I have a bad experience.

The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was friendly and approachable. My husband had ordered a peanut butter bowl with no cacao nibs, and they were still added to the bowl. I brought it back in and the staff immediately remade the bowl correctly and apologized for the mishap. Service was very fast, and our bowls were wonderful! I got the açaí bowl just the way it comes.

The visit today was a complete waste of time and money! Customer service and sense of urgency are nonexistent along with everything else that was out of order/stock - technical issue with drive thru, so I had to go inside, no grilled cheese, no bananas, and no white chocolate. After waiting 20 minutes for a smoothie, I was not informed about them being out of bananas or white chocolate until I sipped my smoothie and it had absolutely no flavor what so ever - then, the worker told me they wanted to still try and make it without all of the ingredients. I wish I had known this information prior, so I could have chosen a smoothie without those ingredients. This was my first and last time visiting this location! 2 thumbs down!!

Their smoothies are always good and correct. The time is a little slow, but there are only two people working so they are doing their best. Management or owner needs to support staff and hire more people

Waited in line for 10 minutes of my 45 minute lunch and then was told they couldn’t take any more orders for 30 minutes because they had to catch up online orders. I’m sorry, I actually drove there to get food. I like the food but will never return!

Came back today after years away due to the inefficiency. I was the second car in the drive through line and waited 30 minutes for food that ended up being completely incorrect (not even remotely close to what I ordered). About 6-7 other cars behind me ended up leaving but I had already paid so I was stuck. Based on the other reviews here this place needs a serious overhaul because I feel completely cheated out of my money. Stay away from this spot and support a local business. Gross incompetence.

20 minutes before closing they said they aren't taking anymore orders for drinks this came from the manager.
Why not close at 8:30pm not 9 pm. Very lazy workers.

Ordered a pick-up order. Ordered a smoothie, wrap with no tomato, banana and cookie. The wrap had tomato on it and didn't receive cookie. I guess in the future I'll need to open up everything to make sure it's right

I honestly love this place. One day was looking for a place to cure my smoothie Cravings and saw Tropical Smoothie was franchised here in Burlington!

Super happy as I got their Beach Bum smoothie with dark chocolate, chia seeds, coconut, and fat burner which tastes AMAZING.

Galen was a vibe when we went today, and is the reason I'm writing this google review. Super chill, and helped me find the name of the smoothie (I forgot it since I usually order via the app which also has good deals)

Seriously, I'd recommend going to this Tropical Smoothie pre/post workout if that's your thing. :)

For some reason, the folks at this location have difficulty reading and following directions for orders. After placing an online order, I have to call to confirm that they have followed the instructions. After numerous incorrect orders, I give up. I will no longer place online orders with this location. Please read and double your orders before sending them out! It's very frustrating.
