It’s a cute little coffee place, as pricey as Starbucks. The few times I been there service was slow. The food was ok, coffee was good.

What a delightful coffee shop! Due to early morning snow, most places were closed for breakfast. Unfortunately, the kitchen here was not open yet do to flood damage. Talking to the owner, she left Florida expecting to avoid hurricane damage of this magnitude. She did have some banana nut bread - it was like an entire loaf and just delicious - made my breakfast. Crazy small world too - she grew up in the same area as my sister in law, and her best friend in FL was from where we grew up in PA.
Wish you little town the best!!

This place is so awesome. They have Chocolate chip Banana nut bread that is to die for. I drove from Asheville just for their coffee and kindness.

Almond milk mocha is delicious.
Can't wait until the kitchen is up and running again (hurricane damage) for some of their good food.

Stopped there for 2 lattes with my wife after visiting mount Mitchell and we were treated like we were bothering them to the point we felt like apologizing witch we actually did , the girl that was cleaning literally knocked at the restroom door knowing my wife was there , I mean we were there roughly 20 minutes before they closed and we apologized for that , they should have just closed ruther than treating us they way they did . Just disappoining that businesses treat their customers that way .

The staff are kind and attentive. They made a bomb sugar free caramel latte over ice for me this morning. They have an upstairs seating section, which is a great place to study if you are a student. Love LOVE Appalachian Java 💙

Me and my wife were in the Burnsville area to enjoy nature and hike up mountains. On our last day we decided to take some coffee with us for the road trip. The coffee is splendid to drink. I enjoy the decor as well. A must stop area if you're even in Burnsville.
