I can't believe I just paid 16 dollars for a soggy salad with 1 chicken strip on it.

Admittedly, we only picked this place because our middle child has gone by Bubba since he was as tall as a fiddlehead, so we had tempered expectations. Was seated right away and were pretty much the only table in the place. The smell of fryer hung in the air like all the banners touting Cougar Heritage pride, so much so your clothes will smell like it afterwards. No frills flat top grill and fryer offerings, burgers, tenders, fries and rings. All fairly tasty and the kids approved of Cheerwine on tap. Big plus. Service was a little slow given the time of day and lack of customers, but again, the Cheerwine was flowing, so the kids were happy as clams. The dining room itself was kind of dark and again, fryer smell, plus the industrial catering wedding chairs weren't so comfy, but we weren't expecting Tavern on the Green. Fries and burgers disappeared into gullets without complaint. Inexplicably, there was a not even 10 year-old kid who appeared to be waiting a table. No kidding. Handling money and running drinks. I guess he could try that in a small town. My boy, the Bubba, even gave him a gumball for his trouble.Parking: Private lot with parking a'plenty.Kid-friendliness: They even let kids wait tables.
Service was great but the food was terrible. Macaroni and cheese tasted like heated up store bought. The brisket was thin slices of meat with bbq sauce squirted on there and the cobbler tasted like rice cake. The sweet tea and baked potato were pretty good. Mostly leaving a review so others know about the quality of the food, as we only went because it had good reviews.

Service was great food was awesome good atmosphere was good ?
Happened upon Bubba's coming back from the Glenn & Carol Arthur Planetarium and stopped with the family to eat. Great food and atmosphere. Even met local celebrity Mike Holt who is 81 years young and has his own table with a picture of him and a plaque. He eats here every day so that ought to tell you something. It's that kind of place. Everyone loved the food from my chili dog to the BBQ and chicken tenders. Great folks. Check 'em out Y'all-Parking: Parking lot around building. Shared area. Plenty of spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp right next to Handicapped parking space.

The ribeye steak sandwich is really good, cooked to order and reasonably priced. Bubba’s serves real mashed potatoes, always a plus. We stop in anytime we’re in Burnsville.

Amazing experience! My wife and I ate here on our honeymoon over 2 years ago and still talk about this restaurant to this day. I love how they support the local school/ community with all of their decor. Very great atmosphere and food is great too. The fact that I’m still thinking about this restaurant from over 2 years ago and over a thousand miles away is proof that it was that great of an experience!

We decided to take a chance when we seen Bubba's from the hwy... The food was good but the Meat ration was EXTREMELY Small... I got the brisket meal with 4 small strips of brisket... Shane got the Chop steak meal with mushroom and gravy... It looked like a child portion!! The salads were big and really good. Loved there ice tea!! I don't like to complain... But for the price, there should have been more Beef ... I would still stop by there again!!
This place is the quentisential “hometown restaurant” like you see in the movies. The pride for the localSchool is shown in every way. The prices are outstanding and the food is very fresh. I recommend the cheese curds 100%. Their burgers are delicious as well. I will definitely be back if not just for the service.

I ordered the featured Carolina Burger and it didn't even come with Chili or the ingredients listed. Over all the service was ok but the food was terrible. Dry, over cooked. Not worth it.
