Sat at the bar for over ten minutes and couldn’t even get eye contact with the bartender. Though he waited on the gentleman next to me, I was completely invisible. After no acknowledgment at all, I got up and left. Doubt I will be back.
AMAZING RESTAURANT! You do yourself a disservice if you don't come in!

Average ACP with poor service. Maybe they need a few more wait staff?

They mixed up my husband's order and didn't give him shrimp; instead he got a little chicken. The black beans were mostly a paste and gross looking. Has been much better than this in the past.

I have never written a Google review that I can remember but I had to write here because this place is part of my community and I love this town and the people in it but we deserve better than this as a community. We already have the worst mexican restaurant I've ever been to but now we have this that isn't too far behind the other. I have ordered food from here about a year ago and it was realllllly good. Took my family to eat dinner here yesterday and am so beyond disappointed. The tortilla chips and my daughters fries all had this really gross flavor of bad grease. Idk if they haven't changed it or what but I've never tasted this taste before. The second basket of chips we got were inedible and my daughter didn't eat her fries (she's 7) and that's all she had wanted for dinner. My taco salad was tiny and pitiful but I lost my appetite after the bad chips anyway. We ordered a chicken burrito with just chicken, cheese and rice, my bf got a big burrito and I had the tiny taco salad and my daughter had a side order of fries. We ordered a regular queso and a bean dip and 3 soft drinks. Mind u my daughter didn't even have an actual meal and our total for these items was 72 dollars before tip. How that's possible I do not know. Rip off, bad quality, cramped atmosphere, their soap dispenser in the bathroom is cute though haha. Won't be returning and that makes me sad because our community really deserves something of better quality than this. Skip this place and go next door to homeplace! Their food is consistently good. Won't be the Mexican food you may be craving but at least u won't feel totally ripped off!

Happened to be in Burnsville, and stopped for a late lunch.
Atmosphere was kind of traditional for a Hispanic restaurant, but nice. Service was good (especially @ 3pm..lol) but seriously, the young lady was super nice and efficient.
The food...omg, the food! My partner had a beef burrito she loved, and it was HUGE. I had the shrimp enchiladas that were divine! Just to die for. We'll definitely be back anytime we're up that way. Blows away most Hispanic restaurants in the greater Asheville area.

I was really looking forward to trying this spot, but the service turned what might have been a fun night out into an uncomfortable experience.
- I walked through the door and received zero greeting. No “hello,” no eye contact—just blank stares.
- I stood at the entrance for over two minutes before someone finally said, “Sit wherever you like.” There was still no follow-up question or offer to help.
- Once seated, not a single “How are you?” or “Can I get you something to drink?” Instead, I watched staff chatting among themselves as I sat thirsty and ignored.
—not the hospitable vibe you expect from a Mexican restaurant.
If you value genuine hospitality and basic kindness, I’d skip this place. , until they learn how to treat guests like more than background noise, it’s not worth the trip.

The food was good, but it was the worst Bloody Mary I've ever had! Nothing but Clamato juice.
