I can’t rate the food this time because we never got served. It says “seat yourself” but then no one notices when you sit down. We have certainly enjoyed the SnapDragon in the past but the two guys working tonight were just clueless. Both hanging out behind bar and talking and not paying any attention to the tables. Multiple people were having to go up bar to get their bills or drink refills. We left after being ignored for 20 minutes. Really was looking forward to that Power Salad and a Painkiller but took our business to Carriage House instead.

My husband and I came here on our way too Boone. We saw a sign stating that we should seat ourselves. The only table available hadn’t been cleared yet, so we sat down anyway. We waited at least 15 minutes before we got up and left.

We stopped in on our way to Jones Ridge and this place is very small if you go to the bar side. Was really confused on where to enter. Apparently there is a bar side and a restaurant side. The bar tenders were wrapped up with the locals and making their drinks. Food was good not great but after traveling 6 hrs we were hungry.

Service is mediocre at best if you aren't sitting in house to drink. Servers work around people in line for pick up and make them feel like take out customers are in the way.

Party of four. Drinks tasted like soap. The salads have suffered from shrinkflation and are much smaller. There was 20 minutes between two of our meals coming out of the kitchen. We will not attempt again as it’s a constant disappointment.

The food is good and it is a unique place, but the kitchen is incredibly slow and puts out food randomly. Tonight we received our food after 5 others who arrived and ordered after us received theirs. Altogether it took 40 minutes to get our food, pretty sad for such a small place with a limited menu.

Happy to tell others that this place is killer good had the best time ever
Hit or miss, we’ve been coming here for about a year. The staff used to be great! Unfortunately some of them left. The food was good but has been going down hill for a little while. The Ribs were my go to unfortunately the last time I had them ( today) the tasted like a bar rag was dripped on one of them. I would definitely be careful if you aren’t a local or at least look the part. The food isn’t bad but the front of the house needs to shape up a little.

Nice spot with good food and very accommodating for my family. We went with a 2 year old and an infant, and had plenty of room for everyone. The only “negative” was they were out of their famous meatballs and we really wanted to try them! But nonetheless, it was great service. We will be back next time we’re in town.

Our waitress was HORRIBLE tonight. It was not Sarah, but the other gal. The restaurant was extremely busy. I was part of a large party and as a group we didn't mind to wait and we were very kind and considerate throughout our time there. The waitress acted like it was such an inconvenience to take our order. We did get 1 water refill. She rolled her eyes when she brought a teenager in our group the wrong drink. She hadn't even asked her what she wanted in the first place. Another lady in our group had to walk to the bar to ask for a refill on her tea, so she rolled her eyes and pointed to the other end of the bar where the gentleman man was standing, who did kindly refill the glass. I have never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant. I would go back for the food, but definitely not for the service. It was poor at best.
