Service sucks! And food is only good when Kelly cooks! If you aren’t in a hurry to get service this is the place for you!

I’ll preface this by saying I’ve been going here for years. Essentially since it opened and this was the worst service experience we’ve ever had. Went out for a date night on a Friday. When we arrived there was no “seat yourself” sign, so we eventually got to the bar and asked to be seated. We were told to sit wherever. Found a table and was waited on about 5 minutes in for just water. It took 30 more minutes for someone to come and take our drink orders for the bar and food. Overall we had 3 people wait on us between taking our order and bringing our food and drinks. Drinks and food came at the same time. Both were exceptional but it is extremely unfortunate that we weren’t waited on more attentively because my husband and I usually order more than 1 drink from the bar. There was also a table beside us of older folks that may have been over served or at least that’s how it seemed with their childish behavior.

I find any excuse possible to eat here when I'm in Burnsville. The drinks, menu, and the walls/ whole place is superior to any place around here. Service is really good or really slow depending on how many people they have working, that's it's only fault I can come up with. Cool history of the name, also.I'm definitely trying the Category 5 next time, and I hope it's like the Lt. Dan vs the ocean hurricane scene.

Fun, quaint little bar and eatery honoring the namesake of Burnsville. The indoor area has a few tables and a nice bar. The food is very tasty and the wait staff friendly and accommodating. The restroom is clean and filled with memorabilia and character. The outdoor space is welcoming and well appointed. Don’t miss this little gem if you’re visiting Burnsville.

Best burger in town. Noisy with the doors closed. Could use some noise absorbing panels.

We are locals and really enjoy the food here. However, service is the worst we have ever experienced. I would give zero on service if I could. Forget about getting a refill. Our food was brought out after apps, took our empty glasses asking if we wanted another drink. Of course we would, we just got our food. Never brought refills so we asked for a box and took our food home to eat. Extremely disappointing.

Time and time again, this establishment pleases me. Tried the chicken habanero cordon Bleu sandwich and it did not disappoint. Probably my new favorite in the menu. Also, the house salad dressing on the farmhouse power salad just hits different. Can't wait to revisit.

We came on a chilly night and sat right inside by the opened garage door. It was tucked in enough to make it comfortable from the cold. The place was packed and we were fortunate to get a table. We ordered appetizers of fried calamari and chips with salsa and guacamole. The chips were a little stale, but we were hungry and the salsa and guac was really good and fresh. The calamari came with fried rings and tentacles and was good. It took a while for our burgers to come so it was nice to have this to hold us over. We had wine and beer, but it seems the real draw are their hand-crafted cocktails. Maybe we'll try that another time. The burgers came with fries but I opted for the antipasti salad--so glad I did. Made with bright red sliced tomatoes, artichoke hearts and Greek olives and creamy dressing. Delicious. The burgers were cooked perfectly to order too--that doesn't usually happen. Located right in the town square it's a nice walk even if you can't park close. Beautiful location!

Great ambiance, outdoor dining was a must, and food was delicious. I ordered the blue ridge burger with a cherry cider and it paired so nicely. My friend ordered 12 wings and loved them. Fried pickles were great. Staff was lovely. Would happily come back! Dog friendly as well.

It’s a free for all with ZERO service. You show there’s a huge sign that reads “seat yourself”. If there is an open table, it hasn’t been cleared. We stood by a table for 15 minutes for it to babe cleared. Never got cleared. Another table opened up that was in better shape. No one ever came over. After another 15 minutes we left. Seems like a “locals only” hang out with zero awareness. Patrons that were clearly done and checks paid were just taking up tables and “hanging out” talking with other tables. One lady was just sitting there reading a book at a four top.We left. No food review here, but after reading the menu on the wall $13 for 6 wings!? I’m glad we left.

Stopped by for a couple of cocktails. The drinks were well mixed and tasty. Also tried the sea salt crusted fries. They were delicious. Staff was very busy but were attentive.
