Visiting from out of town and went here for lunch. Absolutely love this place! Food was good, people are great and the view was so peaceful! Will be back to enjoy the lake and kayak rentals on my next visit.

Beautiful little place on the lake with a great view. Breakfast was good. Nothing fancy. The people were very friendly. You can rent a kayak or small boat. Also has a boat ramp. Great place to visit.

The bar and grounds close at 5, not 6 pm (like Google says) in February.The bar owner was very sweet. She asked if we needed anything and let us stay a few extra minutes to look at the view of the lake.Kid-friendliness: Lots of playgrounds for kids outside the restaurant.

Lakeside Grill is a gem. The staff is friendly and the food is very good. To have a grill available at a lake is unique in our area and makes fishing at Lake Holt a great experience.
Beautiful area for pictures, fishing, or a picnic by the water! The playground was adorable and there were lots of tables and benches all around! Will absolutely be back!
Charming small fishing lakeside spot with a lovely view. The grill offers a classic menu, including ice cream, with friendly service. Little ones might like the play area outside.

I haven't tried their food here yet but I have been fishing here a couple times. The price to fish is great. The grill menu is small but I'm sure it's good as I've seen others eat & enjoying. Love the outdoor sitting so you can see the lake & love to feed their 5 ducks!!

Great service. For a lake side grill the food was average. Tasted and smelled like the french fries and chicken fingers were all fried in same grease as shrimp or other foods. The pulled pork was good.

I am not a snob by any means, but when I first looked up this place and saw they sold worms (for fishing) and hot dogs, I was skeptical. But boy am I glad I got over myself and went to have lunch there. The view was so relaxing! If you work nearby, you're likely an employee for the State or Feds (correctional facilities, psychiatric hospital or a long term residential placement for people with intellectual/developmental disability). So to be able to sit outside and take in the view of the beautiful lake was a huge bonus! They even have porch swings! The food was very good too. I had the steak wrap with fries and the portion size was good. The wrap was very good and I always love a good fountain soda! The service was great! The ladies were so kind, patient, and always checking in to make sure we were happy - we were! The prices were fantastic and I was very glad we went there. In case you were wondering, we didn't get any worms.... this time.
