This is probably the very best Dairy Queen that I have ever shopped at. The staff treat you like family and they give you a smile with everything you order. It never takes very long to get your food and if you have a problem with your card or ordering they're there to help you with a smile. I love this Dairy Queen it is my favorite!

Parking: Parking is right in front of the store and it is a large Circle K gas station so you never have to hunt for a place to park

Kid-friendliness: Every time I've ever been in this Dairy Queen there has been a family in there with small children and they always seem to have a great time.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchair as well.

Excellent customer service and soft serve ice cream. My dog and I use the drive through once or twice a week to get an ice cream cone and a pup cup. They are always friendly. They recently made a custom ice cream birthday cake for us that would be safe for him to have a slice of. Very pleased with the service at this location.

Their orange Julius machine is ALWAYS not working seems like a worker issue and makes no sense considering the drinks are so expensive they’re losing out on tons of money for the company.

I waited in the drive through for a long time. I asked if they could make me a fresh cone because my cone was sitting. He made the cone then proceeded to hold the cone and talk to another employee and take another order. He handed me the cone and his thumb whet into the cone and broke it and the ice cream fell over onto my steering wheel and clothing. The worker shut the door. I just scooped it up and threw it out the window and left. I will NEVER go back to the DQ on Buffalo Lake Road in Sanford, NC

I quite literally never give anything less than a five-star review but I am so beyond tired of getting orders the way I do at this Dairy Queen.

The most frustrating experience I've had is three times I've ordered the peanut buster parfait. Each time it looks so different. I pay for extra peanuts and hot fudge on the top and middle layer. I've ordered this forever and I understand they will always vary a little bit. I am not overly picky. Three in a row that I ordered were so frustrating to me by the time I got to the window. But the very last one I got which was probably the most upsetting. It had stuff on the very bottom of the cup and *only* on the top and none in the middle. When I objected and tried to do it really politely he said trust me it's the same amount but it's just all concentrated at the top. But that's not what I ordered! So I tried to politely say that's not what I ordered and he said this is how we do it. But this was the third time it had been so off base I just asked for a refund right there and then I was so frustrated!

After like four or five wrong ones I'm just going to stop coming and tell my husband or kids they can figure out how to go get it if they want something.

Today I go through to get the salted caramel truffle blizzard. My kids have gotten it twice this week and I was like oh this will be so good!

It has more white ice cream then dark.. Like actual gobs of solid white ice cream. and it doesn't resemble anything like what my kids had. I'm so frustrated with how inconsistent this location is and I live so close and I feel like I can't even use it.

Today I took it back and I tried to explain my frustration and he said Do you want me to add chocolate? And I said no I want what I ordered. And I tried to do it so politely but ultimately I just asked for a refund.

As a person who tries to be so polite and positive, I hate constantly be put In the position to send my order back or ask for my money back or challenge what it should look like. It's really awkward for me.

I've only come over probably the last two or maybe a little less than 3 months so all of these experiences are within that time frame.

Just unbelievably irritated and disappointed. It's frustrating to pull up to a place looking forward to something and not getting it. It's even more frustrating to have to challenge somebody who quite frequently doesn't even look like they care.

Just reading the responses from the owner.
I decided to read through other reviews and I looked at the responses from the owner. Every time you end it with something to the effect of hope you give us another chance It's the same long sentence that the other one. Please do not put that on mine I've had inconsistent orders every time there is no reason I would come back because I am so frustrated and it would feel like you're not even reading my response. I'm only leaving this response so that you have feedback for your crew I could be more detailed if needed I highlighted two of the most frustrating ones but I could be way more detailed on the other ones that didn't go right. I'm only doing this for your benefit and to ease my frustration. If you look through my other reviews you will not see another one star review. I am so frustrated with this location I would prefer you not say that to me just fix it because I have no desire to come back randomly and have the same experience again.
