We were in Cameron for the fall antique market, which was fabulous! We thought we'd go to the café rather than risk the food vendors along the main road. Big mistake! Very limited menu, yet still took over 45 minutes to put together a turkey club sandwich with a side of macaroni salad that somehow turned into potato salad upon final delivery. And it was horrible! The force of pickle aroma was strong with this one, along with a powerfully pickle taste that was not at all palatable. The sandwich was very good, despite the looong wait. Prices were not terrible and all in all, we enjoyed the outdoor seating and the opportunity to people watch while we sat there, admiring the day, the people going by and the ambiance of the Dewberry Capital of the World!

First time dining here for dinner. Very cozy atmosphere located beneath an old hardware store now an antique store. We had the Dewberry salad with grilled chicken added, Philly cheese steak and blackberry cobbler. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The salad was delicious , incredibly fresh with a wonderful dewberry vinegarette salad dressing. The chicken cheese steak was very good. The cobbler was also very good. Will be back ! Highly recommend.

They seemed completely overwhelmed with the three tables of hungry people. After 30 min we still hadn't been asked what to order and finally we just left. This place has great potential but the carefree staff will keep us from returning

Go see Megan!... She's a wonderful waitress! I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, she recommended it placed in a wrap compared to a bun and omg it was indeed a tasteful choice!!! You will not be displeased with this relaxing cozy gem hidden under a well known antique store disquised as a hardware supply store. Brilliant!

Going to Dewberry Café in Cameron was an unforgettable delight. From the moment we walked in, the cozy vintage atmosphere wrapped us in Southern charm. The BLT we ordered was perfection: bacon thick and crispy, fresh lettuce and tomato, and just the right toast and mayo to pull it all together. Everything tasted homemade and made with care. Service was quick but unhurried—our glass was never empty, and the staff’s friendly attention made us feel welcome.
And the kicker? The price was shockingly reasonable for such high quality. Portions were generous, and it felt like we were getting a home‑cooked meal in a relaxed diner setting. The café’s charm, fresh ingredients, and great value make it a must‑visit when in Cameron. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Update: I tried them again, and they were very diligent to seat and service me right away. I LOVED their steak salad and peach-fused burger. Wow. They definitely gave a 2nd impression and will be coming back!

After waiting 10 min to be seen, they took a long time to tend, order, and fulfill. The meals were delicious and fresh.
Will try them again and give them another opportunity.

The food was great, and the waitress was really nice. I got a Reuben and enjoyed it very much. The kids got burgers and they were big and juicy and lots of bang for your buck. We will come back.

Ended up eating hear after a drive down from Raleigh and the first place was closed. I forget our waitress's name. She mentioned she had just started but she was a delight. Our burgers were cooked to perfection

Super happy I made a u-turn to go back to this wonderful restaurant. Very relaxing and chill vibe in the middle of my rushed day. Attentive wait staff and delicious food. Yummy signature salad with house made dressing was the star, but the tuna on rye was very tasty. Dewberry cobbler was a sweet-tart treat for dessert.

Good food, somewhat small portions for the price. Read the tables, the history alone makes up for the portion size.
