Came here for the first time to celebrate my son’s birthday. My son was looking forward to getting the sombrero and being sang to.. like literally every Mexican restaurant does. Our waitress Elizabeth was rude and cold the whole time. Had to practically beg her to refill our drinks. I asked the lady who served chips (who was super sweet unlike Elizabeth) if they sang happy birthday she said yes we do that let me tell your waitress. We waited and waited she walked by avoiding eye contact with nothing in her hand running around like she was busy (half the restaurant was empty). Finally she came by and said “ya quieren el cheque” (you want the check) I said sure, whatever we got up paid and left. I have waitresses for YEARS I know what it’s like. Y como madre y mujer Mexicana que feo se siente que nuestra propia jente nos trate así. I don’t recommend this place. Definitely don’t come here if it’s your birthday and you’re expecting anything really. And if you do and you get Elizabeth as your waitress good luck.

I ordered the caldo de Pollo with a side of corn tortillas. The consume was awesome and it was full of shredded chicken breast meat (I prefer dark chicken meat on the bone). The carrots, celery, and zucchini were rehydrated. It had small pieces of cabbage, onion, tomato, and jalapeño. The corn tortillas were hot and thick. I would recommend using fresh vegetables and dark meat chicken on the bone. The service was awesome!

What happened to this place? It used to be so good. I went on Saturday and the food was just gross. Salsa had a bitter taste, the queso tasted watered down, and the steak fajitas were super tough and did not have any flavor. Disappointing because this place used to be so good

This place is only good if you dine in. No way we should have gotten lukewarm (at best) food. And unseasoned on top of that! Like they just threw the ish together. I live close by so stop in there often; minimal issues. But this is not the first time takeout has SUCKED. But it IS the first time I just threw it away because I was so mad. If you want food here, just dine in.
Ordered online- meal was accurate and prepared timely. It also tasted delicious!!!

One of our favorite places since we moved to North Carolina! The staff are all wonderful! The food is consistently great and presented. Really affordable, good portions, daily specials, what more could you ask for!?? Well, maybe some sele lions served with fresh Hatch chili from New Mexico!!!
