Griff's Kitchen & Bar

This place was a delightful surprise. I ordered Griff's seasonal salad, shrimp buns, pork buns, and shrimp and grits, paired perfectly with a Smithwick's Red Ale. Every dish was exceptional—bursting with flavor and beautifully executed. The server was attentive, and the food quality was outstanding. Who says you can't enjoy gourmet cuisine while I’m camping? 🙂

Quiet, great service at the bar. Pork shoulder was fantastic. Bartender said it was the best fish & chips I'd ever have, and he wasn't kidding - lightly battered, perfectly cooked, hot & simple fries.
This would be a regular stop if I were a local!

My family and I are from Michigan and travel cross country to pick up our daughter (my bonus baby). We decided to make a stop here for dinner and it was the best choice possible. Not only is the food cooked to perfection but the service and thoughtfulness of the establishment is an A+ WOW.
A specific shout out to Chris who helped us with our order. We have a very healthy 1 year old and Chris made his night.

The quality of food will only get a place so far, however when you create a good experience, have good service AND good food, you have the trifecta of success.

Thank you so much for going above and beyond for our family. We will always be sure to stop here when we find ourselves in NC.

Been here a couple times and will be back often. Fish and chips, and chicken bites are delicious: whatever they do to to the breading is perfection. Fish 'n' chips are tied for the best I've ever had (other contenders #1 closed in 1986 and #2 is in Dover, England).

I swung into this place for a cocktail and appetizer. Two pork buns and one drink with tip was 28.00! Two little pork bun appetizer was extremly bland and almost void of flavor. Drink was fine but 28.00? Atmospher was cold and stiff feeling.

I didnt have enough food to give a review , but liked it enough to taste more menue items in the future.

Had a mommy daughter date today and my kiddo got the chicken nuggets and I got the salmon salad. The salmon salad was okay, definitely light and fresh. But the chicken nugs, man, those things were AMAZING. I’m ashamed to say I ate a lot of my daughter’s meal. The staff is always very kind. Also, they have a new pay with your phone feature and it was so convenient and easy to use with Apple Pay.

Oh. My. God. I just had an orgasm in my mouth with this Bolognese. Thank you Chef. It is fantastic.

First time visiting this place and it was totally worth it! Would definitely visit again if I'm ever back in the area.

All right so I balled out and got the steak… which they served with so much confidence that they don’t even give you a steak knife.

Loved this stop. Great selection for healthy kid options such as seasonal vegetables, fruit, grilled shrimp, salmon and more. All with reasonable prices. For the adults the cesear salad and the pork shoulder were delicious. Our sever was super nice and attentive. Highly Recommend!

Wife, kid, and I were all very pleasantly surprised by this place. There aren't a lot of local restaurants in Candler and it was well worth the visit. Landry was an excellent server and a total sweetheart.
