They have good homestyle food. REAL mashed potatoes, and great ice tea.The hamburger stake was delicious. Pinto beans were probably Lucks, and they need to chop up their slaw a little more.Serving portions were moderate. They need to stay open later @ 4 o'clock, they close the door.The waitress was kinda on the hot? side. I'd take a mess of her with her boyfriend chopping on my back with an axe.

I ordered from here on March 12th and I will never order from here again. First when I went inside there was an employeea behind the counter and she just completely ignored me. Then I had to wait while 3 waitresses were standing in a circle talking and there were only 2 other customers. Then they forgot one of my kids meals so not only was my other food getting cold, they had the nerve to charge me. I ordered an open face hot roast beef sandwich and they used Steakum meat! Horrible service
First time experience I got a king fish sandwich it was overcooked and it didn't have a good flavor to it maybe that's just one thing I didn't get to eat any of the other stuff which may be good staff was very nice and friendly

After my experince today I'm just really upset and disappointed. I ordered a big order through doordash for pickup. When I got to the restaurant it wasn't not ready and the young waitress was really nice and told me it would be about 10mins. That's fine its lunch time and their busy. When my order is ready I picked it up went out to my car and noticed that I only had 4 trays when it should have been 5, so I start looking for what I'm missing. I get to a kids meal and find a bandaid in the my kids fries. I decide to take the order back inside, they're other customers so I try to be as quiet as possible and let her know I found a bandaid in my meal and that I was also missing a meal. She goes to get the boss, he was rude to me. I could tell it was a defensive/embrassed kind of rude due to the bandaid. I get it. I handed the food over I asked for refund he then told me to go through doordash. I thanked the staff and left got home canceled my order on my end through doordash, they told me that he had to cancel on his end because it was still considered preparing/open. I called the restaurant I requested to talk to him and let him know what I needed him to do, he kept interrupting me to tell me there is nothing he can do from his end because it's all on doordash. My husband took the phone and the owner hung up, my husband called back and they exchanged words. He then said he would call doordash, a few minutes go by and I recieve a call from doordash that let me know he finally after an hour or so from when I was at the restaurant he canceled the order. Something he should have done as soon as I handed the food back and requested to cancel my order. He called my husband phone and wanted to apologize but I refused to talk to him. The fact that he went above and beyond to not help, or acknowledge the banaid and was rude from the start has ruined any chance that I would dine here again. It's a shame I loved this place and even gave them a great review at one point. (Pictured below.)
