The last two visits have been awful. Cold food. Melted milkshakes. Carhops who stand there looking at you like they are waiting for a tip (even when my order was wrong and they didn’t try to help). And even an employee who looked like they were about to cry when I said I can’t eat chocolate that was put on the strawberry shake. Then threw my food. I know everyone has a bad day. I won’t be back to this location. The Tunnel Road location has it together.

Not all Sonics are the same, the one back home in Easley SC and Saint Petersburg FL and Tampa FL it’s as though they don’t change their oil and their staff doesn’t care to prepare premium good quality and it leaves a guest thinking Sonic just has bad food when they don’t.

This Sonic location served a fresh double cheeseburger as good as five guys I stopped for tater tots and enjoyed both, the tots were fresh and tasted of fresh oil versus old and the meat was cooked fresh and tender, it is truly the quality Sonic portrayed for their franchises yet this one lives up to the standards of excellence.

I am in town working weekly and will enjoy again! Thank you to all your staff for caring to share delicious foods prepared with perfection of excellence in mind.

Update 9/1

The staff here seems to have been over turned they are young eager to get you in and out whether your order is correct or not and the food quality has gone down. Meat dry over cooked, tots over cooked. Attitude has changed there I’ve lowered from five stars to 1

Someone please check on Gabby and make sure she is doing okay because the service I got today told me she was having a bad day. I couldn't quite understand what she was saying through the speaker because it is too quiet for me to hear, so I believe I missed a greeting or a question and I went ahead with my order. When I got to the window Gabby was very huffy and her face looked to be angry. I do hope she's having a better day, this is not an angry review, more of one for management to see that their employees have bad days too. I never expect overly cheerful service, as that is draining for your mind, but I do believe she may have been having a rough day

Dear Smoky Park Sonic,
I have a couple complaints about today’s drinks that were prepared and given to me. First off, my slushies were melted and they made me feel sick. Secondly, the cherry limeade i ordered was disproportionately filled with lime, no cherry, and tasted very not good. Although person who took my order was respectful, they were kind of eerily quiet and made the interaction awkward. I left a tip because I believe in tipping all service workers, but there was some lacking in some areas. I advise you to improve this atmosphere for your current and future customers and employees, wishing all of you well. Please do better.

We went through the drive thru Saturday 3/29 and ordered 2 route 44s. One diet cherry limeade and One regular limeade. A young girl brought them out neither lid showed which was diet. My wife asked to have them remade because she is diabetic. The girl came back within just second and one was pushed down for the diet. She said they knew which was the diet. My wife asked how and the girl said there was one without a lime. We had to run to Food Lion behind them so I checked the drinks, both had limes. When my wife returned to the car I had her take us back to Sonic. I took both drinks in the front door and asked for a manager. I explained what happened. She tried to make me keep both drinks and would just redo the diet. I explained no because diet gives me headaches with the fake sugar. She angrily dumped them and remade them both. Next time just own the mistake and make it better, don't lie to your customers. My wife could have gotten really sick and ended up in the hospital and I could have gotten sick. This could have ended serious.

Spot on, I absolutely loved the food. Customer service on the other hand could have been better. She was kinda short and didn't want to repeat when we couldn't hear her. But yea, they food was awesome!
