Good old timer restaurant. Been in the family a couple of generations. Old style burger joint. Some nostalgia on the wall. Close to the interstate but far off enough that traffic noise isn't an issue.
Food was really good. Price was very reasonable.
Waitress was meh. Young girl with only a few customers that was more interested in talking with her friend that came in. She did refill my tea once. Had to beg for silverware. I would go back for the food but I would hope she wasn't working.
This young generation just has zero work ethic and never seem to understand how to do their job.
She got tipped but.....ugh. Makes the restaurant look bad. Definitely worth a stop. Take your own silverware. Lol.

We had a nice meal here while on a motorcycle ride through the area. Service was a little slow, but it was a cool old school place with a lot of locals eating there.

Very nice little country restraint . Had the hamburger steak mashed potatoes and gravy very good. And my husband had chicken salad sandwich with fries and our little boy had cheeseburger and fries . Of ever through here again we will stop.
It is just the way I expected... hometown feel. The food was great.. But, very skimpy on the dessert 1/4" thick by 3" wide slither of cake. Over half of that was icing those pieces should have never been served...

I just don't see how they have been open this long. The food was not good the people that worked there was not friendly. Witch was the granddaughter the daughter and grandmother. They just Wanted to talk about buying things. Then we heard them talking to someone in the kitchen telling them there not suppose to leave what ever they left put left out over night that it could make someone sick said not to do it again. So lucky we didn't get sick.

I went here after visiting the zoo. I got the Corned beef Reuben and fries. I thought that both were great! The fries were the best I've had in a long time, I'd put them up there with KFC fries. The sandwich was great as well. One thing about this place you should know is they only take cash and they have an ATM inside. Another is that they have different dishes on different days of the week. Overall I highly recommend Blake's!
